Patriot drama scam; it was common love story.

I watched this as someone who never watch long drama version so it based from my own experience. I watched this in the day drama was released.

I was expecting a heroic female general's inspirational story, but I was wrong. Well, this drama still rely heavily on kissing scenes and i was quite annoyed on the kissing on first scene since FL as general should instinctively get her judo skill if she encountered danger?

Although, I quite like Guo Yu Xin, I felt she wasn't suitable for the role of a female general Her characterization didn't quite match of her as a patriot general. The plot had many holes, and the cause and effect were unclear. You need to get through the confusing beginning. For the chemistry between her and Yan Zi Xian, it was still passable to watch.

FL speech was contradicting from the action for the example she said to crown prince "I will never allow my future to be about fighting for a man," is followed by her suddenly borrowing 50,000 troops from the crown prince to attack a Gu sect and rescue the ML.

The switching between the young and adult versions of the ML's scenes is very smooth and natural. Patriotic tale is scam, it is actually a story of personal romance, and the ending completely disregards logical details.

Only for hardcore fans of the actors.

FL was still dumb on her second life.

I watched this in Dramabox since most of Ye Ting's drama is more fast update in here and he didn't have any chemistry with Meng Lu.

This drama tried to cram in way too many elements. The first half was good, but in the second half everything suddenly became a mess. Too many verbal sparring that loses the focus and it become a snoozefest.

FL in first life is an idiot in her previous life chasing after a married man, giving blood of her daughter to the man's daughter and nearly killing her, harming her own husband and children for the other man when the man has a wife and is always scheming with the scumbag.

She really does not deserve the ML and children. Even after being reborn, she still never gives a clear explanation to ML and is entangled everywhere with the other man though she is trying to make up to her family for her previous life mistreatment of them. She really does not deserve her loving family and their hatred of her is real founded.

Not worth watching even for hardcore fans.

Quite bad drama even if you watch in that time and this time.

I watched this in 2024 and i know this plot was quite trend among short drama.

Plot is about FL who become substitute bride for her sister to marry disabled ML. FL only know her sister was having affair with FL boyfriend so she agree to become bride for disabled ML who turned out to be FL boyfriend uncle. When FL have wedding night FL ex wants to rape her and suddenly ML open his eye and scare FL ex. ML family suggest FL to get pregnant but ML don't want FL to be pregnant and will kill her baby if FL get pregnant. FL was actually pregnant lying she had abortion and using her ex name for medical checkup.

The acting and chemistry was that bad. It feels like you watching C+ drama assignment in your highschool since iit was obviously on-budget drama and yeah fake kisses strikes again.

The only decent acting is ML sister acting in here. Overall this drama was bad.

Amazing without romance

I watched this since i don't mood of romance drama. Yunmiao was refreshing theme from Chinese short drama.

I always have beef about Wang Xiaoyi intonation (If she fixed it it would she would be perfect) but her acting perfectly captures the detached and aloof a cultivator, giving her a touch of ethereal beauty that I really like.

This is first time i found Wang Xiaoyi perfect combo (not in romance) and its Xue Binhong. I liked their boss-employee dynamic duo in here making this drama more watchable.

A very novel theme, a grand worldview, and impressive character design in this short series.

Recommended to watch.

Fake Upright FL

I watch it because of Zhang Beixi even i dont like his character in here. I never fans of Li Ruoqi acting and yeah she cannot make me like the character.

I know the plot is quite common FL and ML break up and 4 years later they met when FL tried to make love with SML. FL get hymen operation to assure she is virgin lmao.

Genuinely felt bad for SML, He got into jail because her father did crime. His best friend backstabbed him to get his dream girl His dream girl just used him for revenge. Only his character deserve justice.

The ending was too hypocrite for me she want to get feminist stand by her but her action is saying otherwise always dependent on men. Ugh.

Not recommended. Full of FL hypocrisy.

Pseudo Yuri on Duanju

I watched this with 50:50 minds, good merits i love Zhang Jinyi and it was quite rare to find dual female leads drama on duanju and not so good merit the other protagonist is Tan Yan Yan. Its not because i hate her or something but i barely managed to finish her drama except her dramas with Wang Yiran and the three couple ensemble (and she was the weakest on par with Liu Yuhang) because her acting was not my cup of tea despite her mini drama background. But for this drama i can watch Tan Yan Yan without being nosy like market aunt.

Tan Yan Yan and Zhang Jinyi have slightly yuri (lesbian) feel, but it's actually quite borderline since it Mainland (duh). The story is about Xiangxue (TYY/FL1) , a blind writer, is imprisoned and has her work's publication rights stolen by her husband. She has intelligence but no strength to resist, but fate brings her redemption. Shiran (ZJY/FL2) is a thief, also living under her uncle's control. During a burglary, she discovers someone living a more miserable life than herself, and the two girls sympathize with each other, determined to break free from their cages together. This story has a lot of magical fate, but at the same time, it seems fragile. So, with my limited perspective, I always felt that this relationship would collapse at some point. But it never did, there are only a few soft words from her when she tries to protect her and drive her away.

The final result is rather futile; FL2 can always report her uncle, just as FL2 is fully capable of killing herself and claiming it was an accident. So it still feels like a surreal fairy tale. So, this story is about two women meeting, getting to know each other, and feeling need to each other. It reminds me of

Lackluster second collaboration

I need to be honest this is one Jia Yixuan drama that left me disappointed with the plot

The plot is somewhat clichéd, and although the pacing is moderate, most parts can be played at double speed. Still got peeve on short drama (kidnapping, a knife-shirking act, and drugging). Since i prefer the leads real voice, the dubber voice acting was so grating.

I still don't understand why FL didn't trust ML from her perspective. From an emotional standpoint, she lacked love and lived on thin ice, which I completely understand. But I really think that from a rational point of view, if you think about it carefully, you'll know that that weird male classmate definitely had something going on.

Well, The second collaboration between Chen Si and Jia Yixuan are only for hardcore fans to watch.

This one was unexpected fun drama.

I watched this show just for Cheng Cheng. He's perfect for playing a Hong Kong gangster. For Xiang Yun Jie, i still have a trauma against her but it was far better drama than her drama with Ma Xiao Yu in terms of chemistry and plot. I watched another older Xiang Yun Jie drama with Cheng Cheng and i think they are quite match for the leads.

I never expected to have comedy aspect in this drama. FL is a secret agent who travels back to the 90s, gets drugged and sent to the gangster's bed, but ends up killing him, kidnapping him, and even having sex with him. However, FL secret agent identity is pretty useless; it doesn't really showcase her sharp skills. The plot wouldn't be reasonable without her secret agent identity.

I still recommended this if you have nothing to watch.

AnotherK-drama " When the Phone Call" from shein

I mainly watch this to see Liu Xiaoxu's acting and this is another when the phone calls from Shein. I don't like Cheng Zi portrayal of FL since she was not believable when she pretends to be mute. In some scenes, she clearly couldn't keep up with her co-star and there is no chemistry between them.

Indeed, many details of this version's plot are more logically reasonable, and the causes and consequences are finally clear. The characters' motivations are very consistent with the settings, the transitions are smooth, and the bugs in the original Korean drama can be completely ignored.

The plot is more dramatic and complex, with very strong dramatic conflicts. At the same time, the melodrama factor has also skyrocketed. The "one-night stand token (fake) mistake trope": in fact, ML knew from the beginning that FL was an imposter. Why they minimize the previous three wives.

I watched this drama since this is sequel from the male-oriented drama. The typical male oriented always got some not good looking ML while he surrounded by the beauties.

The plot is still same like previous season ML transmigrates to ancient times and is bound to a favorability system. He already wins over three beautiful wives, but unexpectedly, an S-level favorability target, the leader of the Nangong Cult, appears. The conflict was less interesting than first season since it focusing on the leader making the three wives feel like wallflower.

The acting for the actors are somewhat amateurish. But the plot is solid, it's incredibly funny, and some actors deliver very convincing performances. I watched other adaptation and somehow they feel to flat but this drama still appeals to make interesting characters. A good work isn't solely achieved through expensive special effects, lavish sets, and props. Some say, "The core of a good drama is a good script and a good director" and i agree with this.

Recommended to watch if you fine with not good looking ML with the beauties FLs.

Light drama for killing time.

I watched this drama because of Song Yujia and never excpected Du Yafei character to be non scumbag ML.
It's a lighthearted, clichéd sweet drama, okay for casual viewing.

To put it more simple, ML is the FL's high school classmate who has had a crush on her for many years. He meets her at a bar and throws himself at her. To get on the romance show, FL marries the ML. The love-brained male lead shows off their love in various ways and uses his resources to suppress and bully SFL. ML 's assistant is praised by FL, and ML gets jealous because he keeps watching the ML assistant secretly taking pictures of him (wanting to report to the male lead's mother). FL misunderstands that ML assistant likes ML..

Although FL doesn't suffer any losses, she's quite yapper. I really hate the lower eyeliner the female lead wear it was quite messy. Recommended to killing your time.
