Force love on gender reverse role

I watched this drama because of Sun Qian Xun. The beginning of the drama is a bit exaggerated, it was fun but i don't like it since it was sexual harassment but in gender reverse role. FL has bipolar disorder and quite pervert .

The plot is about FL who finds ML through genetic matching and is determined to have a child with him since her grandmother is seriously ill. ML is an orphan who was adopted by a wealthy family as a child and was humiliated and abused by their children.

At first, she directly tries to steal the ML, thinking she can sleep with him whenever she wants. Although FL is quite skilled, the ML is wary and prevents her from succeeding. FL starts by influencing the ML's grandmother, gaining her trust as she's anxious about his marriage and moving into his house

Wang Chaoyang in this drama was quite unfortunate, he is damsel in distress ML and it's Sun Qian Xun who don't get unfortunate and it become her remark as strong woman.

But believe me, the plot flows smoothly, and the setup is well-done. The revelation of the ML's past is very reasonable, with well-executed plot twists.

Still decent drama if you don't mind the first scene.

Average drama.

I watched this because i want to check Wang Yilei drama and somehow it was average to my liking.

Compared to the show's popularity, the actual viewing experience is somewhat average. FL's effective rebirth and the strong, happy ending for both the ML and FL are still satisfying. Both are non toxic person so you wont get your blood tension high or neck stiff. The acting from Wang Yilei and Liu Nian was decent but not to make me engaging to this drama. It was predictable and it feels like you already open your birthday gift before your actual birthday.

I just realized this drama is from Tinghuadao and they tend to make plot looks good outside but shallow inside. I appreciated the nice styling from FL especially her wedding gown.

Only for hardcore fans.

The worst adaptation.

I watched this last year and felt the plot is somewhat similar and turns out it was Duan Meiyang and Peng Yao pseudo incest drama. The plot is good, but the acting of the two main actors still lacks compare to previous version.

The plot is clichéd, and the entire plot relies on the villain. The female villain is omnipotent; she can hire hit-and-run drivers, commit murder, bribe judges, bribe bars, and various outlaws, all without any repercussions.

They clearly had examples to copy, yet they still managed to produce this mess. A terrible script wasted the hard work of the crew. The costumes, props, acting, and looks were all above average, but it was all wasted. What a pity.

Still weak for mystery drama

I watched this drama since i quite like Huang Yunyun and mystery is one of my favorite genre for all the country but it stills lack for the case but i quite like the character in this drama

Du Peiyuan and Huang Yunyun acting is excellent, and the supporting character, the fat captain, is also very likable. But for the mystery drama, this drama still lacks especially from directing since many scene got shaky effect from the camera.

This is Republican-era suspenseful mystery revolving around the disappearance and murder of the SML the owner of the Grand World amusement park

ML has excellent logical thinking skills and can point out bugs promptly, but his investigative abilities are average. He relies entirely on self-disclosure to solve cases.

FL appears gentle and innocent, but is actually a pure villain who orchestrates everything and manipulates everyone. The FL travels to the world of crime seeking money, targeting the SML She uses various methods, including seduction, drugging, and taking indecent photos, to extort money from him. She then uses her diary to manipulate a 3ML into eliminating the second SML.

However, the ending leaves too many unresolved questions, which is a major drawback. Since we never know where is the actual body of SML.

Still too weak for mystery drama. Only recommended for hardcore fans of the actors.

Snoozefest

I watched this since i want to watch Wang Kaimu but his presence felt like cameo instead of Male Lead since he is just appear as System in FL mission.

The plot basically tell about FL journey after got second life and she become celebrity while on her first life she was obese girl No romance story (Yeah it's from Li Jing Ye, Do not expect romance from her) and almost 70% of drama is about verbal sparring and i was fell asleep when i watched this. I don't have any heart to dropped this drama so i just fast forward this drama and the ending was not great either.

Not recommended to watch.

The later part was quite better and healing drama.

I watched it because of Jin Lu Ying and i shocked at my self i liked the drama. Although it's a reconciliation, it's neither angst nor sweet; it's a bittersweet story.

The typical broken mirror mended plot. The rich heiress aka FL, in order to save the poor boy aka ML who was injured because of her, is forced to agree to her father's request to break up with the boy abruptly. ML, unable to bear it, suffers a fit of rage. They met again after five years and ML stills hates FL for leaving him but unable to take revenge to FL.

The first half is agonizing but actually it was better in the middle until the end since it was actually healing drama for the leads. The misunderstanding part was quite not being dragged since ML silently search everything FL through from 5 years since she left him. From FL side, she still got misunderstand but ML always tried to explain everything.

FL's situation is extremely tragic; long-term mental stress has led to bipolar disorder, and she has attempted suicide multiple times. After learning about the FL's true situation, ML tries to marry her and sponsors her mother's treatment. You cannot treat this FL like another common damsel in distress character in short drama. Jin Lu Ying's acting was truly superb; she really evoked empathy from the audience. Several of her crying scenes are very engaging.

Zhang Nai Ge's appearance isn't particularly striking, but he maintains his scholarly character and it reminds me of Ninomiya's Platina Data (2013) character. The state of mutual attraction and resistance between the leads is very well portrayed.

The biggest flaw in this drama was portraying bipolar disorder as a combination of schizophrenia and asthma, which made me irked.

Still worth to watch despite the flaw.

I didn't understand anything

I watched it but didn't understand it; everyone was immersed in their own. FL is reborn, deals with her husband first, then falls in love, and incidentally recognizes a father and inherits the company. During this process, she has a tumultuous romance with the ML. I don't know if the script was poorly written or the director was a bit off, but the normal plot kept flashing back to fragments of her past life, but these flashbacks were disjointed. You had to guess, but you couldn't figure out what happened in her past life. ML's mystical background was also vaguely explained, leaving you confused. After all, not everyone has seen the prequel. The ending was a forced sad ending, forcibly conflating the earlier stories into a play within a play, with the ML and FL reuniting. I don't understand the point of this nested structure. Zhao Xixi is really beautiful and Wang Yilei screentime in this drama was so minimum.

Everyone is villain, No One is innocent

I watched this when this drama was still on Youtube last year and i realized this drama was taken down. I tried to review this.

The plot is about all of leads is kidnapped and forced to reveal their stories with Bai Fangwen. Initially, everyone conceals their true intentions, lying and embellishing their own lives, portraying Bai Fangwen as a complete fraud. However, they are quickly punished and forced to reveal the truth to survive. It turns out that none of them are entirely innocent; each has their own tragic and unbearable past. Almost everyone is a villain. No one is innocent, including Bai Fangwen. And all their events can be connected around Bai Fangwen.

Twists and turns abound, leaving the truth unknown until the very last moment. The pacing is tight, and the script is complete, but the last few episodes felt rushed, perhaps due to poor editing or cuts.

The entire cast delivered outstanding performances, especially Zhu Moyan, whose nuanced and layered acting, with her subtle expressions, perfectly captured the essence of a mad and wicked woman. This role could definitely be Zhu Moyan's signature role!

Wang Yiran's character gave me goosebumps. His performance was superb. I hope Wang Yiran can take on more groundbreaking roles like this in the future.

The best gender reverse revenge.

I watched this on Dramabox 2 years ago because i quite like Tian Yu and Ye Ting and this time Tian Yu is being scumbag wife while Ye Ting was the victim want to revenge for her wife affair.

Firstly, the scriptwriters did a great job with the plot, character development, and dialogue. ML starts plotting after discovering his wife aka FL's infidelity, only closing in when he's confident of victory. He gradually lures FL into the trap, making him seem like a self-made CEO. FLs acting is also excellent; she appears innocent even after being caught cheating, turning the tables on her husband. ML also do the revenge not with first hand which make sound too perfect for revenge.

Secondly, there are a few minor plot holes. The adulterer is falsely accused of burglary and sentenced too quickly. Although they deleted the call records, that only means they're not on the phone; the telecommunications company certainly has them, proving the wife and adulterer knew each other.

I quite like the ending since they will give some suspense feeling. Recommended to Watch.

How Zhao Zhendong not laugh while saying those cheesy pick up line?

I watched this last year, and it still best Ximen Lichen story despite how cheesy ML seduce FL. Both actors brought their characters to life; Han Jiahui and Zhao Zhendong are simply a match made in heaven for Jiang Wanzhi and Ximen Lichen.

The plot is about ML and FL had a secret relationship for three months before FL was forced to break up with the ML by ML family. Three years later, they meet again, and FL has become the fiancée of the ML's nephew. FL and the ML's nephew are in a marriage of convenience, and the male lead's nephew is having an affair with another woman.

If you're watching this as a sweet romance drama, the dialogue is a bit cheesy. Zhao Zhendong's lines is make me giddy (in good and bad way). I quite like Han Jiahui acting since few version of Jiang Wanzhi seems to meek and always seeking for help.

Personally not a fans of this adaptation but for the best adaptation, this one seems superior.

For revenge drama it's quite bland

I watched this drama last year because of Zhao Xixi. Beside the plot twists about FL's father story, it was quite flat.

The script isn't very engaging. Although it's a female-centric revenge story, it feels somewhat flat and lacks tension, wasting the good looks and acting skills of the leads. The romance between Zhao Xixi and Wang Yilei still underdeveloped and i feel this dram could give more romantic moment for them since they have chemistry.

The biggest plot hole in this drama if ML is so capable, why didn't he find out when SFL killed the FL?

Still watchable though.

Misunderstand could last forever.

The premise is very common since its Prince of Beijing adaptation: ML has secretly loved FL for years and pretends to be a kept man for love. However, after his true identity is discovered FL keeps misunderstanding that he has another woman he loves. This misunderstanding lasts for 95% duration of the drama.

ML doesn't know how to speak clearly while FL doesn't even bother to ask him clearly. The misunderstanding could last forever in this drama. But for this version Lu Huan Yu and Song Yujia had more passionate kissing scenes.

Only watchable for hardcore fans of the actors.

You can watch this if you want to get simple plot.

I watched this on March 2025 (searching my Youtube history while making my brief review) and the plot is quite ordinary. FL goes down the mountain to marry the male lead to cure his illness. They marry first and fall in love later, eventually ML is cured and they get together.

This is clichéd story with a few lines and a bit of banter, the cast is very attractive—Li Zijie and Zhang Jinyi aquite have chemistry despite there is minimum romantic moment. Both the leads quite have natural acting. It would be even better if there were more romantic scenes between the leads.

Supporting characters are quite funny and they are not doing much slapstick which is great even though the villains always looking down at FL since she comes from rural area.

You can watch this if you didn't look for plot driven drama and it was quite entertaining.
