I've seen Build only in his cameo on Ex-Aid and I won't lie, I find it a bit cringe either. But this is something that you usually don't care in a tokusatsu show, since there are things you shouldn't take so serious (and you end up getting used to it). In your case, I suppose tokusatsu isn't your vibe.

I haven't watched Build yet, but it looks like you didn't get the idea of Kamen Rider or tokusatsu in general. Care about how "cringey" the transformation sequences are is one of the stupidest ways to judge a Kamen Rider series.
