why did you think they wouldn't be listed here? I mean, at the end of the day they are TV shows and movies as well, not to mention that the japanese themselves refer to tokusatsu as drama (just take look on a japanese wikipedia article, for example)

there is a lot of tokusatsu screenwriters and directors who have already worked on dramas and there are also cases where actors and actresses became very famous after acting in a tokusatsu show (Takeru Sato, Joe Odagiri, Fumiya Takahashi, Marie Iitoyo, Fumika Baba, and many more)

in my case, it's because my MDL is entirely dedicated to tokusatsu, but I watch other things besides that

I don't watch many dramas, but I do watch a lot of asian films (in this case I list them on letterboxd)

that's fair I think

a show having episodic parts doesn't mean it's "filler" and moments like that doesn't automatically make something bad

You probably haven't watched the Ultra series written by Keiichi Hasegawa, because Ultraman Dyna, Nexus and Ginga are all different. Ryuta Tasaki has done so much, of course there can be good and bad things in between, but for me, he directed a lot more good things, including great episodes of Zero-One and Geats in the Reiwa era. I'm obviously not trying to force you to like Gotchard, but simply saying that Hasegawa and Tasaki are the "worst" of Kamen Rider is an exaggeration, honestly.

The first episode wasn't the best, but how Keiichi Hasegawa and Ryuta Tasaki has a horrible track record?

I mean, if you think that Hasegawa is not a good writer because of Saber and Ghost I kinda get it, but he wrote great episodes in Kamen Rider W and Drive too and was one of the best writers for Ultraman in the 90s (he wrote Dyna and some episodes for Tiga & Gaia) and 00s (he wrote Nexus). Tasaki was the director for Agito, Ryuki, Faiz, Den-O, W, Gaim and many more (he was also a secondary director for the majority of Kamen Rider seasons since Kabuto).

The only thing I'm not liking in Kamen Rider Geats right now is Keiwa's plot. It's not even because he became the edgy guy, but the way how Yuya Takahashi is doing it all so fast. I think it would have been better if this arc had started earlier. Other than that, I still really like Ace, Michinaga (although I can understand who doesn't like him) and Neon.

Hell no. There is a lot of great Super Sentai seasons that supasses Kamen Rider seasons. There is Timeranger, Gekiranger, Dekaranger, Shinkenger, Go-Busters, Gokaiger and many more. Being more episodic and comedic doesn't mean it's inferior.

Geats finally reached the 40-episode mark. I will really miss this show as much as Revice.

Geats has the potential to be the best Kamen Rider of the Reiwa era in my opinion. I'm enjoying it and the flaws it had weren't enough to make me dislike the whole show, but it's far from being a top 10 favorite Kamen Rider for me. Everything will depend on how the final arc will be.

Bro this recommendations section is so messed up. Too many unnecessary recommendations. I get the comparisons with Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, but it is NOT necessary to include the specials and movies. Shin Ultraman and Shin Kamen Rider don't make sense here either.
