As fishy as Dong Baek's mom is, I don't think she has any actual ill intentions towards Dong Baek nor does she went back to her just to get her kidney. I think she really went back to spend the little time she has left with her daughter and grandson, and the scene where she took Dong Baek's fingerprint, I think she was transferring her inheritance to her. She knows she doesn't have much time left so she wants to at least do something for the daughter she abandoned for so many years.
Baek Kyung is piece of sh*t even with self awareness in shadows as expected."h'Es A mErE eXtRa" can't even count…
He abuses people because he has always been abused, both mentally and physically, but even so that doesn't excuse his actions because after becoming self aware he still acts the way he does and boi is it getting tiring to see. I just want him to get his redemption arc asap bcus seeing him throwing a tantrum every single time he is on screen is getting boring
After seeing that Haru seems to be the only one who can change the storyline of Secret, I have started thinking…
This theory lowkey reminds me of the otome game "Amnesia" in which Ukyo had to travel through several dimensions in order to find a world in which the heroine survived but he had to die instead in her place. The difference is that Ukyo retained all the awful memories from dying several times and traveling non-stop tho, and there was only one dimension in which the heroine actually remembered him and they were able to stay together without any of them dying. Ahem, excuse my babbling about this game, I just love it so much lol But yeah this game is really tragic and if my theory is true and the spoilers we got from MBC's official site about how Haru "decided to do everything to protect Dan Oh wherever and whenever, even if it means he has to die" then it's possible that Haru will go down a similar fate in which he doesn't mind sacrificing himself in Dan Oh's place.
After seeing that Haru seems to be the only one who can change the storyline of Secret, I have started thinking about a theory. I think Haru is literally the Haru from the "Trumped Creeper" comic, and he traveled through those Portals in order to find a comic in which Dan Oh existed. Dan Oh probably died in the "Trumped Creeper" comic and Haru, in his desperate state, went through those Portals in order to find a "world" in which she was alive. But the consequence of traveling through a Portal is that he loses his self-awareness and memories. And since Haru didn't actually exist as an actual character in "Secret", he is able to not be 100% controlled by the writer and change some things inside it. That may explain why he has that scar to begin with, even though scars normally disappear when the next Stage happens, because he didn't get the scar in "Secret" but on another comic. And it explains the flower that Haru always looks at which symbolizes "waiting", because after traveling through different comics and losing his self-awareness everytime, he has to wait for Dan Oh to find him and "wake him up", waiting and hoping that she can recognize him once again so that they can finally be together.
I have some minor complaints about the latest episode. During the scene when Baek Kyung lashed out at Dan Oh over…
Dan Oh did say "I know you didn't mean it but it still hurts" tho. The thing is, it's hard for her to even disassociate Shadow! Kyung from Stage! Kyung since he doesn't really act that differently. Unfortunately, he is still mean to both her and Haru even off Stage. He even yelled at her right away when she walked away from the very scene we talked about. His attitude during the Shadows just doesn't help other people understand that "he doesn't mean it". Poor boy doesn't even know how to apologize properly, so as long as he keeps being like this, I don't think Dan Oh will be able to differentiate his Shadow persona from his Stage persona. I agree on the Sae Mi part tho. Since Haru and Dan Oh finally got together, hopefully we get to see them working towards changing the plot of Secret and even help others become self aware now.
Relationships are best when both parties like each other. Dan Oh doesn't like Baek Kyung in a romantic way.
I wish Kyung had someone to give him some love too. And more than romantic love, I wish he received love from his family, since that seems to make him the unhappiest atm. I wish his brother who seems to actually care about him, could provide him some solace which he desperately needs.
No, the real Dan Oh never had romantic feelings for Baek Kyung.
I think a character getting self awareness has a lot to do with if they were present in another comic before or not. Since all the characters that became self aware until now, except Do Hwa and Joo Da (if she is even truly self aware), were characters in the "Trumped creeper" comic.
Poor Baek Kyung! Although he's been getting on my nerves for the past two episodes, I also feel that he's somehow…
I hope Baek Kyung, after learning about the tragedy that happened in the previous comic "Trumped creeper", realizes that he shouldn't contribute to the writer's wishes and actually do something to change the story together with Haru and Dan Oh. I hope he realizes that he can be more than just a character in a comic and that he can do something to change his own story and personality too.
For me it's1. Haru + Do Hwa2. Dan Oh3. Joo Da (she climbed my list with the latest episode)4. Jin Mi Chae (I feel…
I am still considering if I should even put Kyung that high tho. As much as I hope for his redemption arc and all, sometimes I feel for him and some other times I just want him to shut up lol
*Dan Oh starts taking out those hospital tubes out of her body* *Kyung turns around to avoid looking at her body* Me: oooooh he is finally showing her some respect!
*5 secs later Dan Oh starts running and Kyung grabs her wrist for the zillionth time* Me, wearing my clown outfit: ok never mind
best characters in this drama1. Dan Oh, Haru and Lee Do Hwa (impossible to choose between the three angels)2.…
Love how you put Joo Da's grandmother above from Kyung and Namjoo even though she got like only 10 seconds of screetime the whole drama till now laksjdklajda
I have been thinking... What if Joo Da's self-awareness is the key to change the story of "Secret" and in turn she can save Dan Oh's life? The only thing left is to Joo Da to actually want to change her own story and take no more shit from Nam Joo and achieve her own happiness without having a man toss her around. Because that Stage scene where she rejected Nam Joo seemed out of the blue to me, since she seemed to kinda accept him in episode 17-18. I think it's because she is trying to change her own fate and in turn it will end up changing the whole comic since she is the main character.
Best characters in this drama (Personal Opinion)1. Eun Dan Oh2. Lee Do Hwa3. Haru4. Baek Kyung5. Oh Nam Joo6.…
For me it's 1. Haru + Do Hwa 2. Dan Oh 3. Joo Da (she climbed my list with the latest episode) 4. Jin Mi Chae (I feel so bad for him :( 5. Shadow! Sae Mi (bcus she is so supportive of Dan Oh and also so funny) 6. Baek Kyung
Rock bottom: Nam Joo, if he doesn't get self-aware soon istg he is so bland and at the same time kind of annoying
