That's it, I am stanning SF9 now. While waiting for the next episodes of Extraordinary you and wanting to know more about Rowoon, I ended up listening to all of SF9 tracks and falling in love with their music. Also, how come all of the members are so talented and good looking??? I am losing my mind
The way Haru said those things to Dan Oh in that last scene as if he was holding back tears. He was so tender and gentle but at the same time so emotionally strong at that moment. Rowoon keeps impressing me more and more with his acting with each episode and I am srsly dying here ;;;
The drama feel went from all quirky/funny and cute to all gloomy/sad and heartbreaking in the last episodes......Why??????Because…
It shows how amazing the cinematography for this drama is too! Since it's based mostly on Dan Oh's POV, the environment she is in, the people around her, the bg music all changes based on her mood too, and that's so beautiful. Also I started noticing how they basically put a Haru-filter in which he shines more every time Dan Oh is with him and the happy/cute music around them when they are together, which can signify how Dan Oh feels towards Haru when she is with him ;w;
Another thing that I came across on tumblr, is that it's possible that Haru gets hurt more and more every time he tries to defy the writer, which could be explained by how his scar started to hurt when he changed the story at Nam Joo's birthday party. Since he regained consciousness and thus isn't just Baek Kyung's "underling" anymore, tecnically he changed the story by changing his whole personality as the extra who was supposed to be Kyung's follower right? That's why his scar/cut got deeper, as if he got hurt all over again. If this is true, that would mean he doesn't mind hurting himself if it means he can be with Dan Oh again and he would do anything to help her :(
Yes! I agree. I get pissed at him too.But I have to remind myself that he had no idea. He only just recently got…
Yeah he had no idea about the kid, but on that flashback with Dong Baek doing the pregnancy test, she saw how distressed Jong Ryul looked even with just the thought of having a kid, because all he wanted was to keep his fame at that moment. He brought it upon himself by not giving his own girlfriend an assurance that he could take care of their kid, that's why Dong Baek didn't want him to know. Dong Baek, Yong Shik and even Pilgu has told him time and time again how shitty of a parent and love interest he has been, but he keeps on doing shit like this instead of trying to make up for his past mistakes, that's why I cant have any sympathy for him. Also, instead of trying to go back to his ex that already has a boyfriend, he should try to work things out with his current wife that he ALSO has a daughter with, so that he doesn't make the same mistakes again.
I think this story is running thin with the plot, and they couldn't be more creative by making Dan Oh a pessimistic…
Dan Oh's depressing state and giving up so easily on Haru really put me off on these last 2 episodes too. It even felt a bit ooc to me, considering how hard she worked to make Haru remember her in the first few episodes. The worst of all is that she was rude to him even though he didn't even actually do anything bad to her, and like you said, what happened to him were out of his control. I thought she would at least be glad he is back since she was crying almost everyday after he was gone, but just because he forgot her, she was like "fine I dont want you anymore"?? Sighs... I hope the next episodes will make up to these two last episodes that kind of disappointed me
I agree! but i also think that stage Kyung acting the way he does with Dan Oh is because of his mom However, Im…
Yeah, his parents's influences plays a big role as to why Kyung acts the way he does with Dan Oh and other people, with his father's abuse and how he lost his mom at such a young age. The scenes with both of them talking about their childhood memories really made me wish they could become good friends, instead of Kyung insisting that Dan Oh should like him and stuff ugh
Btw your profile picture is making me literally melt omggg <3
Despite Baek Kyung being an ass 99% of the time, I still hope he can reconcile with everyone especially with Dan Oh and Haru, and that they can all become friends and go against the writer's wishes. Because let's be honest here, I can actually feel for him as a character but I cant for the love of god see him and Dan Oh being linked romantically. There's no evidence that can prove they can even have a healthy relationship to begin with, which is something I already said before. It would make more sense for them to be friends. And Dan Oh's "feelings" for him has been such a constant in Kyung's life (although it's only on the Stage) and something he got so accustomed with, that he probably took it as the only reality, and when he realized it's not, he doesn't know how to deal with it. Baek Kyung needs genuine care and love, and instead of a romantic love, I think what he truly needs is family/parental love. He needs to live in a good and kind environment in order for him to be kinder to people around him. He abuses people because he has always been abused, but that's an explanation to his attitude of course, not an excuse. Or he can be the one to start being more considerate and gentle towards other people, that way other people will start treating him better too.
Yall I had a dream about this drama. Haru and Baek Kyung were fighting, but instead of them fighting for Dan Oh, they were fighting for that man who portrayed Yeh Suh's father in Sky Castle!! XDDDD
I wonder if it has to do with the burning of the flower book.
The foreshadowing we got of the events that happens or happened in "Flower" seems to indicate that something tragic happened indeed :( And like you said, the Haru from "Flower" really seems to be more "bad boy" and on the hard type (in contrast with the soft Haru we know). I think the "hard" and "soft" Haru got merged together, and it resulted in him remembering both the memories he shared with Dan Oh in "Secret" so far (including the ones from him being Kyung's "underling"), and the memories he has with the Dan Oh from "Flower"

I read on tumblr someone theorizing that the world of "Flower"/"Trumped creeper" is merging with the world of "Secret". Like, instead of thinking that "Flower" took place in the past, its actually happening in parallel with the events of "Secret". Some parts that supports this theory is the fact that Dan Oh on that scene with her and Kyung's family, said the exact same lines the Dan Oh on "Flower" said ("I can even marry him tomorrow"). And the comic "Secret" was always at the same spot on the shelf in the library right? But on episode 15-16, that same spot was being occupied with the comic "Flower" instead, while the comic "Secret" wasn't there anymore. And what if Haru got merged completely with the Haru from "Flower", that's why his cut was fresh as if he had just got it?
I am so sorry that I keep on commenting here non-stop lmao but Haru's scar got me curious. It seemed too fresh, like he got cut again? He was literally bleeding when he held Dan Oh's hand, does it hold a deeper meaning I wonder??

I am sorry but all his lines are freaking damn funny that i cant help myself quoting him HAHAHAHAH
