Last time I was this invested in a drama was when WWWSK was airing, but at some point I ended up not feeling that excited anymore for the next episodes. My hunch is that at the ending of episode 13-14 they will make Haru appear again. And at the ending of episode 15-16 he will remember Dan Oh again (hopefully they will even kiss?? I can dream lol) On a different note, after talking about Baek Kyung's character arc with other people here, I am starting to wish that the drama writers make him reconcile with his parents, and that their parents can be redeemed somehow. I think that what Kyung needs isn't a romantic love, but parental/family love. At least his step-brother seems to actually care for him, so hopefully they can get on better terms later on.
Their relationship is like 99% based on BOF, it's basically a remake. It's so similar that it becomes funny sometimes…
I used to go crazy over BOF just because it had handsome boys. But looking at it now, it had so many toxic relationships and the acting was sooo bad lol

Even on the Shadow he still acted like an ass to both Dan Oh and Haru tho, even tho he was already starting to become aware of some things. What bothered me was when Kyung's fangirls started harassing Dan Oh because of him but he only intervened when Haru made the first move to help Dan Oh. And he constantly kept on talking to Haru only to try and emphasize that "Dan Oh is his fiancee" "Dan Oh is closest to me". Kinda like only trying to provoke Haru, and these chats were all in the Shadow. I really really wish the drama writers change his attitude asap tho I don't think I can take him being like this anymore lol

Exactly!! He definitely needs some therapy asap. I am glad that at least his step-brother seems to genuinely care for him, unlike his shitty parents. Instead of a romantic partner, I think he is in desperate need of a good family enviroment and parental love.

Yeah I think he does have feelings for her, but they evolved based on them having known each other for so long and unfortunately their parents (especially Kyung's) played too big of a role in the process of their relationship. Which makes it very sad when we think more about it, because even if his feelings may be genuine, a part of him probably clings to her because he doesn't want to be left behind, like how his mother left him, since Dan Oh has been a constant in his life for so long. The way his "like" for her evolved based on these other feelings and insecurities he has, is what make their whole relationship kind of difficult and sad.

My problem with his whole jealousness is that it seems as if he just wants to prove to Haru and Dan Oh that he is better than Haru, instead of being kinder and nicer to Dan Oh because he likes her. Trying to win the girl over versus trying to make your rival lose are two totally different things. If he just started treating her better I would feel less frustrated with his character sighs. Hopefully next episode he actually stops being an ass.
