I am having so many huge expectations for Dan Oh and Haru's romantic scenes. I hope the writers make them as good as we all expect it to be

Since everyone is talking about how shippable Dan Oh is with everyone. I even ship her with Joo Da lmao That scene when she got splashed and Dan Oh gave her her jacket, I screamed XD

I am starting to make countdowns for Wednesdays 9pm KST... I really have no life except for watching this drama lmao

For now I really dont feel any sympathy for him, nor did I feel sorry for him when the became self aware in the webtoon, he continued being kinda scary to me. Hopefully the drama will actually make him become more likeable later on

I am just commenting about the webtoon because they may or may not base the character's fates on it. It's very unlikely that Kyung will start treating Dan Oh kindly even when he gains self awareness tho, because of the bad experiences they both had with each other so far. At least not as kindly as in being all sweet or smth. If the drama writers change his whole personality different from the webtoon tho I look forward to how they will solve all the "bad blood" he has had with Dan Oh so far

She hid it from him exactly because she didn't want to be with him anymore and thought he shouldn't be involved in her or her son's life anymore. And I get why she did that, since he never actually cared about her enough to defend her when his mother humiliated her or the fact that he seemed embarrassed to show her to his friends

He confesses to Joo Da almost every day in the Shadow but she friendzones him every single time, and when the Stage comes she forgets about his confession so he tries again and the cycle repeats :(

I understand his actions because of his family issues and his jerk of a dad. He may like her and care for her but you can't deny that the relationship he currently has with Dan Oh is very toxic, both for him and for her. Just because he is suffering because of his family doesn't justify him hurting her and humiliating her in front of their classmates, it's not good for Dan Oh's health to be with Kyung.
And the way he acts like this because he is afraid of her leaving him (both emotionally as in her liking Haru, and physically as in she could die because of her heart) isn't good for him either because he will always end up being in an unstable mental state, which results in him hurting and pushing Dan Oh away thus hurting himself too when he sees the consequences of his actions.
[SOME SPOILERS FOR THE WEBTOON AHEAD] Baek Kyung in the webtoon even reveals it himself to Dan Oh that not being able to be romantically with her hurts him because he does like her, but admits that if they do actually get together it would hurt even more, because he will always be afraid of her leaving him, which is not healthy for either him or her.
He is a pretty complex character and the author of the webtoon really did a good job at showing that loving someone isn't always a good thing, because it can be emotionally draining for both parts

I really hope Do Hwa gets to be with Joo Da or finds someone to love him and vice-versa :( The ending he got on the webtoon made me so sad for him

It has been 4 episodes already tho and his behavior towards Dan Oh IS abusive, especially emotionally

I can't really like him as a character but what bothers me the most is that some people can still ship him with Dan Oh even though the only thing he does to her is hurt her, both physically and emotionally. He may be doing what the writer "tells" him to on the Stage, but even on the "Shadow" he still treats her like shit.
The way I see it, the way Kyung treats Dan Oh is almost the same way Nam Joo treats Joo Da, they treat the girl like crap almost all the time but once they show a little bit of kindness "its okay to forgive him" and people swoon over these little kindness and forget all the bad things they did to the girl

I don't understand how can people actually like Kyung as a character. I mean, if it's for Lee Jae Wook's portrayal then yes I can agree he is an amazing actor (heck I even found this drama because of him). But his character Kyung doesn't make me feel sorry for him at all even when they introduced his backstory with his asshole of a dad. He abuses Dan Oh every single time he sees her, and when she finally found someone who can make her happy, he abuses the guy who is making her smile too. It may be his "role" given by the author of "Secret", but after reading the webtoon and knowing how he is gonna treat Dan Oh even after he gains self-awareness, I just can't like him at all, I can only see him as an abuser

Every single new episode is a new episode to appreciate Ro Woon's beauty tbh

Dong Baek's ex is so freaking annoying. He is a total hypocrite with all the things he keeps saying to Yong sik. Just because your love life didn't work out the way you wanted doesn't make you have any fucking rights to try and ruin your ex's relationship with someone else

This drama keeps amazing me more and more. The plot is getting soooooo good. Also I was basically drooling because of Ro Woon's good looks the entire episodes lol WHY IS HE SO BEAUTIFUL?? His voice is so beautifully deep as well ;-;
