People are so used to seeing female leads played by actresses that show a poker face almost all the time that they can't gent used to someone like Hyeyoon that manages her expressions in the best possible way. She has showed many emotions so far and I love every single one because it actually seems real.
Not to hate on other actresses, but I have seen many overrated actresses nowadays that get cast almost all the time and are seen as amazing, but they are so boring to watch imo because they always show the same kind of expression.

Also the contrast between Nam Joo giving Joo Da some high af heels that she will probably never wear again and actually feel uncomfortable wearing it, while Do Hwa gave her simple sneakers that she can wear on a daily basis, just shows how different they both treat Joo Da and view her needs differently.
Nam Joo put emphasis on the fact that those heels were unique and expensive and that he was the one giving it to her, while Do Hwa put emphasis on her own needs and how these simple sneakers could make her more comfortable to walk with.

Do Hwa actually finding Nam Joo's cringy lines and attitude cool and considering him to be "superior" to him and more deserving of Joo Da actually kills me inside everytime. That scene where Nam Joo came back and Do Hwa was just observing him while contemplating how cool he is and how he can never be like Nam Joo made me so sad because my boy always sees the good in other people but can't see that he is just as great or even greater, it breaks my heart :(((
