I know, and as far as the praying scene where Dan Oh wished the writer to keep her alive longer, then her mission IS to stay alive, she didn't say she wanted to keep living because of someone, she simply said she wanted to keep on staying alive. I don't think she has to explicitly tell every important person in her life that she wants to stay alive for them or anything. The fact that she fights so hard to stay alive implies that it's because she wants to spend a longer time with the people around her, including Haru, her father and friends. The "to-do list" she made shows that she cares about every person in her life, she didn't write only things about Haru, she wrote a lot of other things to do with her father and friends as well as traveling etc.

Dan Oh is literally a high school student and she fell in love with someone for the first time. Almost all of us went through that phase where our romantic interest ends up taking almost all of our time because we want to enjoy the feelings we have for the first time. Does that mean we end up forgetting about our friends and family? Of course not, we still love them as much as before, but at the moment we are just enjoying another kind of feeling we never had before. Dan Oh may have been "lovestruck" in the beginning and even giving up on wanting to change her fate, but that was only because she was afraid of losing Haru, the only person who views her as she is. As much as her family and friends are caring, they unfortunately aren't self-aware, so Haru is even more special to her because of them both being self-aware and viewing each other's true selves, so losing him scared her. She realized that her actions have big impacts on the people around her, and she limited herself because of it, isn't that a very human thing to do? But once Haru reassures her, she went back to wanting to change her fate, being once again proactive about it. But one thing I find really good about Haru and Dan Oh's relationship is that even though Dan Oh may want to spend longer moments with Haru, he still goes out of his way to make her spend time with her friends as well as him, as seen in the scene where he called Saemi and Soochul for their picnic. They both bring out the good parts about each other when they are together and that's really beautiful.
Based on the preview, looks like I am gonna cry rivers on tomorrow's episode. Haru is gonna do the same things Dan Oh did for him to make her remember him again. Although Rowoon wasn't seen filming for graduation tho, so idek anymore lol

As much as I have some complaints about this drama, so far, Extraordinary you is the only drama that made me feel so excited and expectant for the next episodes ever since I started watching it. I never got so invested in a drama like I did for this one. The only other kdrama that made me so invested (aka searching for behind the scenes, wanting to know more about the whole cast, looking for spoilers, etc) was WWWSK, but I was only invested until the leads got together around episode 8 (out of 16), after that I had lost some of my interest and stopped searching more about the drama. But for Extraordinary you, we are already reaching the finale, but I still feel so excited everytime I see spoilers for it and I keep wishing for the characters's to be happy. Of course this drama has it's flaws and everyone has different opinions, but I do think Extraordinary you deserves all the hype it has been getting.

It's just a theory I came up with based on the things I pointed out, but that would be too dark. In terms of character development it would basically destroy any chance for Kyung to redeem himself too, since it would appear like he is just running away from everything.

I have been wondering this myself too. It's like the free will the characters think they have might actually be fake, because they keep repeating the same things that happened in the past comic, they know it too but can't do anything about it besides wondering to themselves if the things they say, do and feel is actually real or not. It's like having an existencial crisis but in their case it seems like an endless cycle, it's actually scary because it's as if they are living in an horror story in which they have zero control over themselves.

Another theory: considering how the drama writers have exchanged some backstories for the characters based on the webtoon (aka Haru getting a similar backstory from Dried Squid Fairy from the webtoon), what if they give Webtoon!Do Hwa's fate to Drama!Kyung? Webtoon!Do Hwa commited suicide out of too much guilt after learning about his whole family basically killing Joo Da's family and he killed himself because he couldn't stand the pain. What if Drama!Kyung commits suicide so that he can forget his guilt over killing Dan Oh in the past comic (and even considering murdering her in the current comic) and go back into not having self-awareness? I mean, he even said this to his brother on today's episode: "That doesn't sound too bad. At times, being oblivious is less cruel in this world". We all thought he could be talking about killing Dan Oh here, but considering how it seems like he didn't kill her for real, and how the drama writers have shown us a lot of plot twists, it's a possibility. A real damn sad, tragic and dark possibilty tho
