For now, I still cant feel the romance chemistry between Sae Roy and Yi Seo, maybe it's the age gap idk? Sae Roy looks much more like a mentor to Yi Seo than a love interest, at least for now. I hope their romance is handled well and we can actually feel that they belong together on later episodes.

Geun Soo is the cutest and I really hope he realizes Yi Seo would never look at him the way he wants it, and tbh, he deserves someone who actually cares for him and is kind to him, bcus let's be honest here, Yi Seo doesn't exactly treat Geun Soo well.

Hyun Yi may just become my favorite character in the drama (this totally ain't related to the fact that she's portrayed by Lee Joo Young, not at all *cough cough*) and I am looking forward to how her character is going to be handled.
Tony is really cute too?? His smile is so pretty, I hope we get to know more about him soon.

I am still unsure where Min Jung stands, but I have a feeling that she will help Sae Roy? She doesn't seem 100% loyal to Jangga, at least that's the feeling I got.

The worst part about Soo Ah is that she still likes Sae Roy, but doesn't want him to succeed nor does she want to help him achieve his goals. Like, she only likes him if he's "inferior" to her, kinda like that? I mean she totally had zero conscience the moment she started working for the same guy who literally murdered the person who took care of her and the orphanage

Haru in Trumped Creeper seemed like the typical Prince's right hand man that served his superior exactly because he had no family and no one, and is loyal to the only person who gave him shelter: the Prince. It's a very used trope in historical stories tbh. Also, the writer of the comics probably didn't like Haru's character enough to make more background story for him, as seen by the fact that even though he was a main character in Flower, in Secret he ended up being an extra with no name or even a face in the actual comic in the beginning. The writer always revolved Haru's entire existence around Kyung, using him only to give Kyung's character more depth.
My headcanon is that since in the new comic both Haru and Dan Oh are extras with no name or set-up, and the fact that they are adults now, they are more free to built up their own relationships with others and even maybe have a family :')

Agreed! For once I actually agree with drama writers for not giving an character a past or background story, because for Haru it actually is intentional and works, since he is an character in a comic after all. His whole life basically is shaped by how the writer of the comic wants

I saw some people talking about this possibility too. The way he said those things about Kyung really seemed to imply that the feelings he has for him are very very strong.
It also brings us to another question: what if you fell in love with someone in one of the comics but in the next comic the writer draw that person/character as your sibling or family? That kind of thing is just so scary to think about

Dan Oh is confirmed as an nameless extra because she had no name on her college locker. We don't really know about Haru tho.

My headcanon is that Haru and Dan Oh are just mere nameless extras in the new comic, getting almost no Stages at all, and the new comic managed to get super popular or something in real life so the writer kept the comic going for 999+ chapters. So Dan Oh and Haru managed to spend long long ass years together happily without any sort of suffering :)

I am not saying that he deserved someone better than Dong Baek lmao I mean as in he didn't deserve to be suffering so much, he and Dong Baek deserves to be with each other, not kept apart like how happened in episode 18

IKR. She already experienced losing him once. To do that again to her was utterly cruel. And she still had to smile through it all in the graduation, she even had to spent a whole damn year without Haru (I try to console myself by thinking that the 1 year gap was in a rush like how comics just simply write a time skip, and Dan Oh didn't really have to experience a whole ass year without Haru)
