if this is already getting a season 2, does that mean it'll end with a cliff-hanger or open ending? i'm not watching…
If they end season 1 in a cliffhanger, it would probably be a cliffhanger of some romance of one of the leads (or maybe more than one of them?), because the romances have been pretty much a slow burn imo so far for all the characters that has had some kind of romantic encounter (except for 2, which are already a couple, but I won't spoil who it is) But idk, that's just my opinion, based on what has been going on with the plot so far. Who knows, the writers are pretty unpredictable tho lols
I am talking solely based on the webtoon's image of the protagonists, since I have zero idea what's the plot. But I think someone like Han Jimin would fit the female lead well. At least I think her appearance looks very similar to the girl in the webtoon. I just imagined her with Rowoon omg I can dream
I kind of disliked her at first but the more they showed us about her, the more relatable she got and she started learning more about the things she complained about in the past, and she learned how to grow and mature through them. She is probably one of the characters I relate to the most in this show. Her character development has been one of my faves so far!
I just noticed that when Ikjun sang this part "I just realized that the purpose of my life had been you all along" in their band practice, the scene changes and focused on U-ju sleeping. And it just made me so soft how it could symbolize that Ikjun's main purpose in life is his son ;_;
Can't believe Ikjun's ex-wife had the audacity and guts to spend a whole ass 1 and half year apart from them and actually cheat on him even. He is like the most charming, caring, kind and husband-material man to ever exist (and the fact that he is played by Jo Jung Suk, my biggest ever actor crush too XD). If I ever married a man like him I would stick to him like glue lol

I for once am liking how nothing too dramatic is happening, I always get too invested and too stressed when too many drama is happening and I get anxious thinking whether the characters will end up suffering or smth lmao I like that Hospital Playlist doesn't have too much drama, because I get to enjoy it without expecting to cry or suffer too much along the way XD But I think we are still at the phase of "the calm before the storm" in the drama
Although Youngjin and Sunwoo didn't get together as I hoped (T.T), I am still satisfied with the ending. I liked that part in the rooftop because we could see that Youngjin could finally let go of so many years of hatred and vengeance and Baek Sang Ho's words didn't affect her as much anymore. She had finally moved on and didn't let her emotions get the best of her, and I loved that. Seeing her uncovering the truth behind everything, mourn and then move on, it has been really painful but she managed to take it and become a better person in the process. I am so proud of her :(( Definitely one of the best female protagonists ever!
I hope we finally get to see Youngjin having her peaceful and happy life in tomorrow's episode bcus that's all she deserves after all these years of anguish. Maybe even get her happily ever after with Sunwoo bcus yknow... I ship them too much XD
At this point I am more invested in the Shim sisters's happiness more than any other character in this drama. They shouldn't be getting so much shit for so long. I am not trying to excuse the fact that they killed the guy, but honestly I also have zero sympathy for the husband after he died, the guy literally abused his wife almost all the time for fuck's sake. One of the reasons as to why I think Hae Won shouldn't be acting so mad like that at her mom and aunt. I understand she is mad for being kept in the dark for so long, but istg your dad was an sorry excuse of a parent and husband.
not gonna lie, when ikjun mentioned uju's "girlfriend" and her dad were visiting them for dinner, my head started plotting an bl storyline for ikjun with the other dad lmao
I dont know what to feel about the possibility of this drama going for the Ikjun x Songhwa route. I mean, more than it being about who I ship them with, of course I just wish for them to be happy and all. But yknow how in real life, when two of your friends start dating, but then when they fight you have to choose to side with one of them and point to the other that they are wrong or vice versa? While the ideal is of course to stay neutral and try to help them reconcile, that's almost never possible, at least for me it was never actually really possible when I was in that position lmao What I mean is that it may end up having consequences for the five's friendship. But I hope to be proven wrong, if Songhwa and Ikjun may really end up together, based on what we saw in episode 6
