I forgot to add, but another point that makes this drama stand out for me, is that despite the five main characters getting more screentime (obviously), the writer takes her time to develop the story of the side characters as well, and they connect well with the main characters's own storyline. Each character plays an essential part in the overall story which makes the flow seem more genuine and realistic. As much as I may like main characters in certain dramas, when a drama focuses too much on only the mains, the side characters sometimes may end up becoming comic reliefs or fillers, which in turn may end up ruining the drama for me, or become a "too generic" kind of drama. But that's not the case for Hospital Playlist and I love that. And that's coming from a person who always disliked medical dramas. I am surprised myself with how much I am liking this drama despite always had a disliking for medical dramas xD
I hope this shows goes for the route it has been going until now: no romance between the five friends, they all stay friends up until the end, which is what's most charming about this drama for me. It's fresh and heartwarming to see their friendship run so deep after so many years, so adding a romance between one of the guys with Songhwa would kinda destroy the uniqueness and strong point of it for me
After seeing Eunho begging Youngjin to protect him and saying that he's scared... Damnn, he may be really mature and smart for his age, but he IS still a high schooler/teenager. I think the adults in the show sometimes treats him too much like an adult thus making Eunho having to act tough, but his breakdown in episode 13 really broke me. He has been bottling up so many feelings until now, he doesn't deserve to suffer and go through so much anymore :(
At first I felt a little bit of sympathy for Kim Bo Young, because I felt she did feel sorry for doing that to Hae Won. But then again she started victimizing herself so much, and that last scene on episode 12 and the preview for episode 13... Like wtf girl do you have to go THAT far just to get some boy (who clearly stated he doesn't like you and is even dating someone else already) to notice you?? She is getting more and more annoying as the episodes goes by
Can someone give Youngjin a hug already?? She deserves it after going through all this shit (I lowkey highkey am wishing that Sunwoo is the one that gives the hug tbh)
there has been no romance until now. there may be little veeery little hints that sunwoo may have a crush on youngjin if you wanna go that way but it can be interpreted differently if you look at it another way i guess. but in any case, there's no romance between any characters
lol I def ship them. I don't want their romance to be a focus (as that usually ruins cop dramas imo) but I would…
Yeah! I don't want it to be a focus either because both of them already have too much on their plates rn to worry about romance. But maybe when everything is solved, I hope they can find comfort in each other. I just feel like they would suit each other so much and both actors have a great chemistry too!

And that my folks, is an example of things NOT to say when someone confesses to you XD
