SRY kneeling does not mean he's succumbed or FORGIVING & forgetting all the stupid sh*t JDH did lol. Saeroy literally…
I like your interpretation of that scene! Indeed, for me that scene wasn't about him yielding to the old man, he simply finally let go (or is at least finally trying to) of his hatred and revenge, so for him, kneeling isn't something that hurts his pride anymore. What would hurt him now would be losing Yi Seo and his friends.
Also, I would like to add the fact that I am so proud of Hwi for not chasing after that guy who "saved her" from bullies anymore because, and I quote, she's "the only one who can save herself". I loved that part!!
tbh i wanna give this drama big kudos for breaking the stereotype of cool/cold/rich guys. most dramas make them to be such assholes especially to the female leads, but Oh Young Woo was understanding and kind to Hae Won, from when they were teenagers to now. He did "save" her but he didn't ask anything in return, even when she rejected him he accepted it and respected her choice and didn't pressure her. I am just really glad to see a male character like this after being so frustrated with most of them *war flashbacks to 99% of cool/cold/rich guys being assholes in kdramas lol*
Despite not exactly shipping Yi Seo and Saeroy thaaat much, I really like how devoted Yi Seo is and how she is…
Sincerely speaking I think that Park Seo Joon and Nara look better on screen together more so than Seo Joon and Da Mi, I think these two have a better chemistry even. But in terms of character, of course Yi Seo wins in terms of who deserves Saeroy more. I never understood why Soo Ah never did anything for Saeroy despite liking him too. I think in the end, she just liked the fact that he liked her to the point that it made her think it was something natural and she took it for granted. No wonder Saeroy moved on.
Despite not exactly shipping Yi Seo and Saeroy thaaat much, I really like how devoted Yi Seo is and how she is so selfless with her love towards him. We all know how Saeroy is a man worth of being loved and Yi Seo always saw that ever since she met him, so she went all out and wasn't hesitant about her feelings ever.
I liked Geun Soo before but he totally got on my nerves for doing that to Hyun Yi. I dont care about his motives nor his goals, he hurt my girl and istg i hate him so much for that >:(
I may not be the biggest Yi Seo fan but I love it when she goes all out when it comes to defending Saeroy. And while I understand Saeroy's unending faithfulness to Soo Ah and his feelings for her (because that's just how he is, the always so selfless and understanding guy), I really cant wait to see him start to realize that he deserves someone who can love and care for him the same way he cares about someone he likes. Because even though Soo Ah likes Saeroy too, she never went out of her way to try to understand him and care about him when he needs, it was always Saeroy going out of his way to help and care for her. I may question some of Yi Seo's actions and attitude, but we can't deny that she's the only one willing to understand Saeroy and his vulnerabilities and loneliness, and she tries to help and care for him.
Not gonna lie, I started watching this drama entirely because of Lee Jae Wook and I didn't expect anything from the plot, thinking that it would be "boring". But it actually has a feel that I really like?? It's slow paced, realistic and heartwarming, with little bits of comedy in it, I really like the overall feeling this drama gives off! The cast is also doing a good job at their respective roles. So far, I am liking it much more than I think I would. Hopefully it keeps up being good up until the end :D
I somewhat agree because they are really cute as best friends, but I also wouldn't mind them potentially having…
That I wish to see, but it doesn't necessarily need to be with Seung Kwon. Dont get me wrong, he is a good guy and all, but they treat each other a little bit harshly to say the least lol (Hyun Yi telling Seung Kwon he's ugly time and again, Seung Kwon not being able to view Hyun Yi as a girl, etc). They both need to find someone who will like them for who they are, hence why I think they suit each other as best friends. Also a good friendship bonding with them understanding and then trying to help each other wins over any forced romance.

What happens to Hyun Yi by the end of the webtoon?
