As the episodes goes by I fall in love with Hari more and more. No wonder Yisang is soooooo whipped for her lol Just like how Jaeyoung and Eutteum kinda are too, but these two are different for obvious reasons. Let me start with Eutteum. He definitely got way too ahead of himself, but considering how he has almost no experience and that he is kinda naive I can understand why he went ahead and thought that maybe he had a chance with Hari. Despite I knowing very well that they don't have a chance together (and he is probably gonna end up with Hyojoo, which is kinda bullsh*t bcus she doesn't deserve him, but oh well) my heart still hurted for him when he found out that Hari was already dating Yisang. He said it himself that it was the first time he fell in love first, so he got his heart broken pretty fast :< As for Jaeyoung *sighs* He was the second guy I thought would have had a bigger chance with Hari in the beginning, but now I hate him the most. He is so selfish, annoying and nosy. I get you are jealous and that you are regretting not chasing after her waay before, but it's too late already dude, she is dating someone else for god's sake. Let her gooo damn just let Hari find her happiness with a man that actually deserves her. But although I may hate Jaeyoung, I hate his ex-wife even more, so I hope they don't end up reconciling bcus she is such a bitc* lol
First BL kdrama that I watched and hoping for future BLs to have such a high quality like this one!! The chemistry between the leads was just *chef's kiss* perfect, the tension, the lingering stares and the heartache woww It was just 13/10. The chemistry between them is actually better than a lot of couples from mainstream kdrama lmao The story is filled with tropes and cliches but it was portrayed really well by the cast and it didn't feel too dragging or too dramatic for me, just enough to give us a good hurt/comfort and a little bit of angst before the ending. Ahhh the ending, the ending just made me smile so damn big. They got a well deserved happy ending (with a very much deserved KISS!!) I loved it. I am so glad we finally god a BL main couple that actually got a happy ending :') The side characters were all adorable and good too. They were all mature imo and I just loved that they never tried to torn our couple apart (well aside from the villain that we all know who it is) Also, the OST is just sooooooo good too, the songs fit each atmosphere really well and it's really catching uwu
Love triangles are bad enough but now we have a love pentagram? Is this really an 8.7 drama?
I would say it's even higher than 8.7 tbh. It's not an love pentagram because it's obvious from the start which man Hari likes, and while we may feel a little sad for the other guys, the main male lead is still the best suited to be with Hari.
The premise of a more mature/adult cast and lots of men liking the same woman, who has been single for a long time, reminds me of Oh My Baby. Hopefully they will make it obvious who is the main male lead like in OMB in the first few episodes, because I wouldn't be able to handle getting a heartbreak if she doesn't end up with the guy I root for :<
Jang Nara's chemistry with the three guys is so good I could literally ship her with any of them!! Tbh, I was rooting for Yi Sang for obvious reasons and how he is like 100% the end game for her, but seeing Euntteum's feelings for Hari grow more and more, I started to feel like he and Hari would make such an adorable couple as well! uwu As for Jae Young, I do think he is a good person, but I don't like the way he addresses Hari's issues with the sperm and her love life as if he is doing her a big favour by offering to "marry" her or "giving it" to her. He clearly loves her but he should stop being such an immature person and just tell her his feelings like an adult. Btw, Jae Young's ex wife is such a big ass selfish b*tch I already hate her lmao Also Hyo Joo is kinda getting on my nerves with her "I am superior than you" attitude towards people and how she is so materialistic and full of herself assuming Euntteum likes her so she wants him to buy her an expensive af ring.
But aside from the romance, I haven't laughed so much in kdramas for awhile. The comedy in this is just PURE GOLD. But the emotional scenes are also soooo beautifully painful and relatable. It's like I spend 5 minutes laughing like crazy and then 10 seconds later I am already a crying mess over the sad and emotional scenes. And of course, Hari is like 90% the reason I am loving this drama so much, she is awesome in all aspects, no wonder three fine men all fell for her because I definitely would too lol
I gotta say that Yi Sang most likely being infertile was such a twist! He and Hari clearly likes each other a lot already and Yi Sang going to the doctor to find ways to cure his infertility made me so emotional, since that was what destroyed his past relationship and made him even want to always be alone. But now his feelings for Hari reached a point in which he is willing to face his most traumatic problem and try to solve it because he wants Hari to be happy alongside him :( I disliked Yi Sang in the beginning but now I find him so adorable! I hope he and Hari can get their happily ever after. Since giving birth is highly unlikely for both of them, I hope the show can give us some more realistic approach, like adoption. But I am afraid the show will just give us "they miraculously had a kid" (which would be nice and all, but very much unrealistic considering their conditions)
Yeah he's pretending for the job but at least his circumstances make sense. The second male lead is gay (or I'm…
Yeah i know it's a step towards more lgbt visibility in kdramas and in Korea in general, but it's as if such characters always end up not getting the person they like and end up alone or sad etc, which isn't exactly a good view for lgbt people. Maybe this one will end differently idk (God do I hope the other guy can be happy too). I don't really have my hopes too high tho, but we will see, maybe I will be proven wrong
I was excited to watch this but from what I saw some people commenting, is the male lead srsly pretending to be gay just to get a job?? I was hoping for him to actually at least consider the other male lead as a potential LI, but looks like that's not even gonna happen and he will just look at the female lead as the actual LI *sighs* Yet another day that I got queerbaited
For anyone who may be interested in the webtoon's plot, from what I have seen people commenting about it, here are the things that I gathered from it (I didn't read the webtoon, just got some infos here and there): - There are 4 leads, 2 male and 2 female leads - The main female lead (Song Ah, played by Won Jin Ah) is in a 3 years relationship with the 2nd male lead (played by Lee Hyun Wook) - The main male lead (Hyun Seung, played by Rowoon) is in an unrequited love for Song Ah - But 2nd male lead cheats on Song Ah, which prompts Hyun Seung to act on his feelings for Song Ah and asks her to use him for revenge against her boyfriend (not 100% sure about this info, I just saw someone talking about it) - The 2nd female lead (played by Lee Joo Bin) is a model that would do anything to achieve her goals, including going after the 2 men, but she doesn't actually believe in love
So yeah, it's basically a love square XD It may sound shallow and cliche, but the webtoon even got an award and good reviews, so I think the overall plot and execution won't be too full of overly used tropes. And the director is famous for his rom-coms, so my expectations are pretty high for this drama :)
Ohmygod the first episode actually exceeded my expectations?? Their chemistry is 10/10 and the directing is great and neat. The plot may be cliche but it's the kind of cliche that I like because it's done in a way that makes me squeal XD Hopefully there won't be too much dramatic stuff going on and we can see them being lovey dovey (praying for a happy ending). Also hoping for a kiss scene :)
I DEFINITELY AGREE. Well i ship her with ik jun but dang this girl is really hard to read. However, did yall notice…
I know right??? I have seen people theorizing about the fact that maybe she really liked Ikjun for a long time, but he gave up on her after Seokhyung's whole confession and he even got married once to another woman. Maybe that hurt her a lot, so she's reluctant to accept his feelings
Songhwa is soooo hard to read. I can never tell whether her reactions towards Chi Yong or Ikjun is good or not XD Like, I can see she feels sometimes nervous/uncomfortable when Chi Yong "flirts" with her or makes his feelings clear, but I am almost certain she doesn't view him in a romantic way, since she even clearly told him to "not make the mood awkward again" when he asked her for dinner. Now, with Ikjun, she has always been very comfortable with him, and he makes her laugh a lot. But I am uncertain about her feelings for him, because he basically confessed his feelings twice already, once in an implicit way and another one much clearer, but her reactions are always the same, she looks away and becomes nervous/uncomfortable. I really don't know what to make of it, maybe she even doesn't like any of them, orrr maybe she likes someone else??? I really don't know :< damn is she hard to read
Just watched the second episode and my favorite scene is totally that fight in the rain HAHAHAHA it was hilariouss. And Yi Sang got a little better in this episode, at least he is being kinder to Ha Ri.
YALL TODAY'S EPISODE WAS A BIG WIN FOR THE SHIPPERS.
I gotta say I wasn't sure what to feel about Ikjun and Songhwa at first, because I was rooting for all the five to stay friends until the end. But now I am certain they were made for each other. They are so comfortable and they both bring out the best out of each other, they are more of a old married couple than any other real couple out there and I love it. I hope with all my heart that they end up together now, they deserve it.
ALSO I AM SO PROUD OF MY GIRL MIN HA, I am so glad they weren't baiting us and she really liked Seokhyung all along. It was so heartfluttering seeing her confess to him. I have a big affection for her and I think she is perfect for Seokhyung. She is honest, brave and kind, someone Seokhyun really needs in his life right now. I ship them so much I hope they get together too ;w;
Now aside from the couples, one of my favorite scene this episode is Junwan's resident finally getting that overdue appreciation he deserves. He was getting too much shit lately so I am happy he can get some recognition for his hard work. And I hope that Cheon guy can go to hell.
Last but not least, WTF SEOKHYUNG'S MOM??? HOW CAN SHE STILL LOVE THAT JERK-
