Not gonna lie, I started watching this mostly because of Jang Seung Jo and damn I made the right choice. Not only he looks so good the execution of this drama is nice too. After episode 3 I think I already pretty much figured out who the real villain is, and no, it's definitely not the guy on the last scene in episode 3, but someone higher up, which will make things even more complicated for our characters. Despite the predictable criminal plot, I am enjoying our characters teaming up and trying to fight against corruption and injustice, also our characters themselves all seem to have a complicated past, so that's definitely one of the things I look forward to discover!
I was afraid with how the writer would portray a romance between two individuals who grew up neglected and thus have many psychological traumas. But after 8 episodes in, I am sooooo glad and happy with how they have been handling Mooyoung and Gangtae's relationship. We know how normally in romance kdramas pattern, the kiss between the leads happen around episodes 6-8, so I was afraid they would rush it and make their relationship kind of inappropriate considering their mental states. But I was so glad to be proven wrong. They both bring so much comfort and happiness to each other now and also brings out the best out of each other. There's no toxicity in their relationship anymore because they are both slowly but surely healing now, before they actually enter a romantic and intimate relationship. It brings me so much joy seeing how they went from traumatised kid-like adults that just wants to be loved and be free, to now adults who face their past problems and try to become better people, especially to each other.
The first episode didn't impress me. Nana is a fine actress imo but I don't like how they made her character scream so much and having some over-the-top scenes. The male lead seems the same old "cold but lonely" kind or smth. Also didn't like how in the end of episode 2 it was revealed that they already knew each other since kids lol. I will watch some episodes more to decide if I should continue or not tho, at least I am curious how these two will fall in love
At this point Jaeyoung's scenes and his whole character are just a big ass filler. Completely unnecessary to add more useless drama. Just give us more Hari and Yisang pls
I think that from the poster alone we can already pretty much predict which guy is gonna be end game for our girl XD It's like Oh my baby's poster too lmao
They made Euntteum, the youngest (like much younger) ""love interest"" for Hari into a mature and cute person, so how could they make Jaeyoung, the more likely ""2nd love interest"", soooooo damn annoying and childish?? He srsly doesn't act like his age, especially considering how he even has a child. Like dude instead of meddling with Hari's love life, why don't you yknow use that time and effort to look after your kid instead? *rolls eyes*
Making a separate post just for my man Yisang because it's gonna be long lols My heart got broken into a thousand pieces seeing him trying to tell Hari about his infertility, the moments where he showed his vulnerable side and how we could literally feel that he was already expecting to end up hurting her and himself in the process... It was soooo painful :( I know some people are saying that he should have told her before, and while I do agree to some extent, we know how much he tried to push her away in the beginning. I know he didin't specify the reason and only said that he didn't like kids but he did try to push her away. And we all know how that worked, it just ended up hurting them both more even though they earned for each other so much. And let's remember the fact that they didn't know each other that well yet, there was no way he could tell her he was infertile, especially since that was the cause of his biggest insecurity. But even so, he saw how him pushing Hari away just ended up hurting both of them, so he tried to not let his insecurity ruin both of their happiness, so he went and confessed to her. And after that he didn't drag out THE conversation about his infertility for long, he still told her pretty soon into their relationship. And more than that, he is trying so much to cure it, just so he could have a child with Hari. In my opinion, that wins over anything. He loves her to a point that he wants to face his biggest insecurity and source of trauma, just so he could make her dream come true. He puts her happiness above anything and that's why he is the end game for her. He loves her so much and aaaaahhhh I just hope Hari can understand that. I understand she wants a child and since it's her life she can do whatever she wants. I love her character so much that I will accept whatever she decides. But Yisang definitely showed how sincere his love for Hari is, so I am still rooting for them. At the beginning I was wishing for it to be realistic, but now I am already hoping for a miracle to occur lols I am so whipped for these two.
