Oops my mistake, it was ep 47 that this happens. And yes it was during the part where Xu Zhu meets Meng Gu.

It as confusing as it looks. Looks like Wang Yu Yan was going to be a nun, then they cut to Duan Yu talking about giving up everything to do what makes him happy, then they cut to Duan Yu and Wang Yu Yan walking out together. The end. As for what was written I couldn't make it out.

I hate the character too and the fact that they gave her so much screen time and expanded her story compared to past versions made it so much more difficult to watch.

Around the 40s, I think ep 43 or 44, it's right after Duan Yu and Wang Yu Yan get out of the well and rejoin the group.

Zhong Ling leaves because she couldn't held knowing Duan Yu is her brother and Mu Wan Qing leaves because he likes too many girls and he is her brother. They don't even find out he is not their brother or that their mothers were killed. They are just gone. The ending is messed up in this version.

Yeah the ending is a mess in this version. I really liked the actress for Mu Wan Qing in this version. They also messed up Xu Zhu in that in doesn't end up with the Xi Xia Princess. This was probably censorship as he was a monk.
