If you love soft bl...then take a look at this! Seeing 8 EPs you might think it'll be rushed but it somewhat feels like a slowburn hurt and comfort ( for me ) and lawd I was screaming at 1am for them cuz their chemistry was CHEFS KISS.
S2 was definitely not what I was expected...I think my expectations were just too high? This season is alot more slower paced and the stories keep jumping which I don't really like since most of them weren't that important, just fillers. So I occasionally skip the part that were taking too long and deemed unimportant. Honestly the first few eps was doing amazing with Hyunsu and uimyeong's chemistry but after their part it just felt like a waste.... Unfortunately the ending only left me more questions than answers.
It was hard to finish this season cuz most of the time their side stories make me lose interest. Hoping next season has more screentime for the main characters and not a bunch of side stories that are pretty much unimportant, it's basically trailing off the actual story.
For new bl fans, this was adapted from a novel and yes it is bl. But due to China's strict censorship for LGBT stuff, they had to make it so it looked like it was only bromance. But if you actually watch it you can see that they directed it so you can actually tell that the plot was intended to be bl. The drama might seemed boring and plain but remember they had no choice, but anywho enjoy it :)
To the new fans coming to watch this but is reluctant to watch it due to the comments abt the 2nd couple, you can watch it, tho by your own risk. Some ppl dislike it due to the r@pe components in it and how toxic it was. But to others, the situation is completely understandable in their own way. Sure the stepbrothers' relationship in the start was toxic, but I was just glad they ended up with together in the end and lived happily. In some shows with the same trope, the toxic couple remained toxic till the end.

I think so too, I notice that his lips aren't aligning with his words so I was a bit sceptical whether it was really his voice or someone was talking over him cuz his voice itself doesn't blend in like the rest of the cast's.
This. was a whole rollercoaster. Wow. Fluff, Angst and other more makes this a great BL series. The main couple caught my heart a few times but I AM SO DOWN FOR KING AND RAM, THEYRE SO SWEET IT MAKES ME MELT MY HEART GO DOKI DOKI (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)~
