I really liked the drama, it was fun and interesting. The romance was a bit weird. In the beginning there were lots of accidental intimacies, but as the romance became real, the best we got was hand holding. Is it just me, or do you think it was the age gap? It seemed like the writers were afraid to offend the audience with a real kiss. I still liked it, but was disappointed in this one aspect.

loved him in scent of a woman. That drama didn't initially appeal to me and now is one of my top 5. Hopefully these dramas will turn out the same.

no way, it would take something major to beat queen in hyun's man. I may just have to give this one a try.

I love almost every drama with LMH. I think most of his dramas are a bit light (which I like). But I have to admit that some of the darker emotional dramas show off an actors talent more than lighter dramas do. I hope LMH progresses to be that kind of actor but meanwhile I'm just going to love him in the lighter style he seems to favor.

wow, I'm mostly a K-drama fan but I've seen all of these but Love Now (72 episodes is just too much). None we super favorites but I liked them all.

I often wonder about the subs that I read. There are times when I wonder how much I'm reading is what the character is actually saying and how much is what the translator chose to write. I am often conflicted in whether I wish for more literal translations or to have them smoothed over for easier viewing. In the end I'm just thankful to have my dramas subbed. I don't know what I'd do without subbed dramas.

Choi David? Isn't Choi Daniel the actor in School 2013 (I'm watching that while I wait for the next episode of Pretty Boy to finish). :)

Thanks for the Faith review. I'm a big fan as well. If you want to give another historical drama a try, go for Sungkyunkwan Scandal or for more time travel Queen In Hyun's Man. They are both light and happy, very romantic compared to other historical dramas I've seen.

It took me a bit to get past the abrasive wife, but as she mellowed out as the movie continued, I really liked it.

I totally agree, QIHM is my favorite. It was the perfect drama for me. Top of my list!

I'm waiting for a few more episodes before I start. Meanwhile, I enjoy reading everyone's comments...almost as entertaining as a drama itself.

I also love watching dramas with strong female characters, but I find that even the ones listed are not allowed to be strong enough. Gil Ra Im from Secret Garden was great but by the end she was always crying and it was even worse when she played Kim Hang Ah in King2hearts. She goes from a soldier to fiancé who couldn't do anything for herself. I want to see these strong women stay strong. They can be both strong and feminine.

Only two more episodes to go...I'm still enjoying it. I feel like the last few were a bit slow, but I'm excited to see the conclusion.

I'm excited that it might help some of my friends come to love the Asian dramas that I love. I'm looking forward to see how they Americanize one of my favorite dramas. If it's too bad, I just won't watch. But how fabulous if they do a good job!
