Seeing the glowing reviews i decided to give this drama a go even though I do not like CKH and am ambivalent about…
Oh, I didn't take your comment as disparaging. I just wanted to share what I knew about the medial issue. I had never heard of it or would have thought it to be serious, until I read about the suicide. I love reading about everyone's thoughts and opinions about different dramas and I enjoyed reading your comments.

There is a medical condition that causes severe blushing. A young adult in my area committed suicide over it a couple of years ago. It can be a real issue. I'm not sure if this is the condition that they are using in this drama, it hasn't been really explained, but I'm assuming so. I think it could affect someone like how it is portrayed in the drama.

I am trying to finish it... I am only in 24... the drama is getting too slow.. Jerry Yan's face here is always…
I made it that far too and then skipped to the last 4 episodes. I do not regret the missing episodes and figured out what was going on right away. I was very pleased with myself until the 2nd half of the last episode.

I admit to being a strong K-drama fan. I have many J-Drama and T-dramas that I've enjoyed, but my preference is K-dramas. I feel that the different countries have different strengths and weaknesses in their dramas. I like some of the more mature and realistic romantic relationships in T-dramas and J-dramas, but can be disappointed with the sillier plots I often find. I just want to find dramas to love, from wherever.

I agree that 2014 was not the best year for Kdrama. Here's hoping that 2015 is better! I'll check this drama out. Thanks for the recommendation.

A cute mini-drama. I was pleasantly surprised after the low reviews. Light hearted and sweet. I liked it better than Love Cells.

great review...this is one of my favorite dramas. I hadn't watched many historical dramas when I first saw this one. I was a great light hearted introduction to historical dramas.

It's no surprise I hated almost all the top rated dramas (Empress Ki especially is absolute foulness). I'm honestly…
I still can't trust the American tv format. I've been burned too many times with my favorite shows being cancelled. The goal of American tv is too keep it running forever, so even the good shows go bad after a few seasons. I feel like I can't win either way. I like the predetermined format of kdramas to ensure my show can be complete. The content, well some dramas are better than others and everyone has different tastes. I haven't seen anything too great in awhile, but it's better than what's on my tv. I won't argue about the shows you are enjoying, they are not my style, but I hope you have good luck with them.

I read all the negative comments and started it anyway. It was a bit of a slow start for me and I still fast forward…
I was ok, until I tried to finish it tonight. I thought it was only 20 episodes and the last few have been a bit slow. Halfway through episode 20, I'm telling myself "this is not the end, I hope it has been extended, because there is no way they will wrap this up." I feel a bit let down, I was hoping it would all resolve this week.

I'm so bummed! I was just about to start this drama, the comments make it sound so good, but now I'm not sure. I'll wait and see what everyone is saying after the last episode. I hate waiting, though.

"Remake" is definitely the operative term because it will need to be totally redone. Think Hayazaki…
a very good point. It probably won't be anything like the original. I've never seen the Hayazaki films with subs only with English dubs. I'll check out the sub versions and see what I've been missing.

I wonder how it will turn out. But why don't they just broadcast the original version with subs?...
too many people are afraid of subs. I keep telling friends about the wonder of kdramas, but the subs stop them every time. I'm so used to them I don't even notice anymore.

ep.10. Nice reference to QIHM.....but it made me wonder :P
I'll be on the lookout for it.

I'll give it a try, but I switched to Kdramas to avoid American multi-season shows that never resolve. It might be good for a season or two, I just hope they wrap it up nicely like the original. The kdrama is doing to be hard to beat, it's one of my favorites.
