Anyone has a suggestion for something like that ? It was really good!!
Have you tried Can you hear my heart, heart to heart or Queen In Huyun's Man? The plots are very different but I really liked the romance and relationship between the leads in all four dramas. Good luck finding another one you love.
I think modern women are very conflicted in our views of male/female relationships. We are taught that men are dominant and should take care of us (Disney Princess training). We are also told that we are strong and independent. It is hard to merge these two viewpoints. I think the slap and kiss is a demonstration of trying to merge these ideas. The woman asserts herself (slap) but then lets the man have his way (kiss). The violence is excused as romance and all is well. I try to keep an open mind about this type of drama but it makes me uncomfortable and I'd rather watch something different. I like the few dramas that have truly strong women and men that accept them. I'll watch sweet and nice too.
I don't often drop dramas, but I do try to screen them before I start using similar criteria. How about a list of dramas I wish I had dropped: Fashion King, Modern Farmer, 49 days, Lee Jun Kai, Coffee House, Blood, and Romantic Princess.
A cute lighthearted romance. But I find the mini episodes so very annoying. Just as I'm getting into the story the segment ends and I have to click all over to get the next one going. Yes, I'm lazy, but I want to be fully immersed in the drama and not distracted by the short breaks.
My taste in dramas is currently out of alignment with the majority of viewers, I'm really liking it. I'm on episode 10 and am excited to continue. I'm still a bit worried as I usually find myself more in agreement and wonder why I didn't listen better when I watch dramas with such negative comments. I hope I get lucky and love it to the end.
I know this drama is almost like the typical rich jerk guy falls in love with the humble/poor girl but I have…
I like the drama, but I'm not totally sold on Liu Bing. He is very manipulating and completely unconcerned about the effect of his actions on Xao Xi. I do like them as a couple, but I want to see more affection from him.
I really like it, all three parts. It was the best vampire drama I've seen and cute for a school drama. If they had done the Joseon part first, no one would have said a thing, but placing it in the middle was surprising.
