I liked it a lot. The romance was slow to get going, but didn't disappoint once it got going. I will admit to fast forwarding through some of the evil plotting, but that's normal for me. This shows biggest weakness is in comparing it to The Descendants of the Sun which aired at the same time. It does suffer in comparison, but is still good on it's own.
I think different countries have a different flavor to their dramas. I think they all have good things to offer, but are not for everyone's tastes. I mostly watch K-dramas and T-drama, but lately have been watching C-dramas. I'm currently watching two J-dramas (including Memorandum of Kyoko O.) I pick dramas based on my mood, and what looks good, not where they are made.
I didn't start until 2009, but I've watched Full House, Goong, and Norbuta wo produce from your list. My first Drama was Boy's over Flowers. I just finished My amazing boyfriend and am waiting to marathon Another Miss Oh.
Surprisingly cute. My first Thai drama. Not really my style but much better than I expected. Great acting for the male lead and a good performance for the main girl too.
Loved it, but somewhat let down that no one was surprised that she was a girl. I knew Zi Feng knew but only his hot dog buddy was surprised. I wanted a big reveal.
I'm re-watching some of the episodes while I wait for the next one to be released and had a thought. Does Zi Feng already know that Ya No is a girl? I'm starting to think he does from just before his confession. Can't wait to see if I'm correct.
It's great to see so many people and all with different tastes in dramas. I rarely hate a drama with passion (exception for 49 days and Fashion King) but I find many that others love and I just find them so-so (Pinocchio, Master's Sun). Thanks for sharing your opinion and letting us express ours.
I want to see Jung Il Woo in a stronger role like he played in the Moon that embraced the Sun. His character here is weak and silly. I want to see him challenge himself more.
I loved their romance, but what's up with this going through hardship alone business? And the last two episodes were 1/2 flashbacks. Overall it was excellent, so close to perfect, but didn't quite make it.
