Can I ask you guys something? The King wished to kill his son because of the shaman saying; the child born in…
If I understood correctly: The King wanted to kill his son because the son would be king INSTEAD of him. Meaning there would be some sort of coup to put the son on the throne and he would never be king. In that flashback, he mentions that he was only able to become the crown prince because of the war, which implies he doesn't have favour with his father (king at the time). So of course that king would want someone else to take the throne and not the son he dislikes. It's all about the power struggle, he doesn't care about a successor.
Dan Oh thinks that she's self-aware but really she isn't, because in the shadow she still says lines from Trumpet Creeper.... only Haru and Kyung realize that the story is repeating itself even in the shadow. I wonder if she'll ever become fully aware?
Episode 21 was 100% the best episode so far!! The energy in the house now is amazing and everyone seems to get along so well. I couldn't stop smiling the whole time! With the addition of Hana I think we finally have the best combination of 6 housemates
This was a strange movie. Aesthetically it's gorgeous, a total 10/10 for the costumes and the scenery. The plot however, was somehow boring despite a ton of stuff happening. The premise is good and it has a great cast, but the execution was really underwhelming... too bad cause this could have been awesome
I gasped when Dong Joo said "you make me want to live"!! I mean, that's just SO incredibly romantic!!! The idea of a love worth living for is even more romantic to me than a love worth dying for
Wait...did I get right?! Is Ju Da partly in relationship with Nam Ju because Nam Ju's Mom ordered her in exchange…
I'm pretty sure it's the reverse. Nam Ju's mother vaguely threatened that if Ju Da started dating Nam Ju, the family would stop paying her grandmother's medical bills.
yes so that limits movie choices I want to see more variety in the drama choices, 1 drama winning everything is…
Agree. I don't really think there was a big hit jdrama this year... or was there? I honestly don't remember If you haven't checked them out yet, Nagi no Oitoma and Dakara Watashi wa Oshimashita are my two favourite dramas of the year so far! Highly recommend~!
Thank you for this!!! Confession: I've been seriously thinking about the MDL awards lately! I'm not sure what I'll be voting for yet! In the past, the voting has been affected by not much getting subbed but this year SO much stuff got subbed, curious to see if that means more variety. One problem that will always exist though is the delay between movies in theatres and the DVD release...
