Another recommendation for Okinawa: Nada Sou Sou. While I'm at it, I'll also recommend the song with the same…
Wow thanks so much! Okinawa is so beautiful, so I'm not surprised there are so many dramas and movies set there!

I think Gattan Gattan Soredemo Go is underrated. Hopefully people will watch it when they read this article.
I hope so too! I had never heard of it before I started researching for this article, but it was definitely a nice way to pass an hour!

Oooh thank you for a Nagasaki recommendation. I had a different one I was considering but I'm happy now to have more than one option!
Dramas really shaped how I travelled in Japan. I went all the way to the Noto peninsula because of how much I love Mare :D

I haven't watched it yet, but the synopsis made it sound like the Chinese version of the Japene drama Good Moring…
Definitely similar but a few differences:
- In Good Morning Call they are in high school. The characters in this drama are college students.
- The relationship in GMC is much more love/hate (with Uehara being a pretty big jerk for most of the drama). Gu Wei Yi is a bit cold at times but he's waaaaaay nicer than Uehara
