the original pilot for LUAT was filmed in 2022. lattefirst first were paired way back before dmd even thought of making the reality show. they were still promoting them together in september 2023.

and james left the show of his own accord, it had nothing to do with anyone else.

someone asked aof about punk spy in his livestream and he totally dodged the question and said it has nothing to do with dmd (classic response from him 😂) so i guess this is cancelled.

i mean the production company sucks so likely this would've been meh but feel bad for tommy tho 😭 i have to admit i couldn't see the tommy/thomas pairing working and that was before he paired up with kong.

i honestly think the show is quite fun + watchable despite the rushed pacing, you just have to switch your brain off and completely forget about the japanese adaptation (and probably the manga too).

i noticed there was a bit more colour in the second episode and the show didn't look so washed out and dull visually so i hope that improves and we see a bit more vibrancy in the coming episodes. hope they can tone down the constant sound effects too. weirdly enough (though i assume this is the same production team as MSP) i felt that MSP's overall production was stronger than this.

i did like the scene on the boat but peat's dramatic acting is pretty weak so not sure they can pull off anything too angsty

this show is still a mess imo but the scene where kim's mum tells her she has cancer got me :( reminded me of when my mum told me the same. can wan please grow tf up a bit and support kim. like she obviously is capable of being understanding and supportive (like with her own mum) but when it comes to kim she just loses her marbles and defaults to being controlling and childish. if i was kim i would snap 😂 actually wan's jealous dumbass behaviour this ep reminded me so much of sam in gap.

i trust engfa will deliver but charlotte really needs serious acting classes 😩
