i was pleasantly surprised by the pilot. the production was really top notch, colour grading was good, no excessive filter that is so typical of dmd productions. no slow mo in the fight scene as well, it looked pretty realistic. as always zeenunew’s chemistry was immaculate, the tension between kanin and charan was crazy. i know everyone and their mother wanted their favs in this series but charan and kanin were written for them and they owned it.

as for the casting of the supporting roles… i was not expecting jimmy and ohm but hopefully this means they were cast based on how well they fit the characters (as they didn’t go with a set pairing and mixed it up). happy for jimmy and looking forward to seeing jimmy and zee’s chaotic shenanigans on set 😁

the veterans are very well cast. i wish ava had actually spoken in the pilot but i like kris’ vibe. thomaskong… we’ll see. i was expecting a gen 3 cp in this as dmd can’t resist promoting their newbies with their biggest stars but as their roles will be relatively small i will keep an open mind. i’m honestly glad that all the supporting roles weren’t gen 3 because honestly that’s what i was expecting. 🙈

that was a teaser. since then they basically filmed a whole new pilot trailer. as for why it took so long, i’d also like to know 😂
