i think it’s both. it is a small industry plus the major channels CH7, CH3, one31 often use their own contracted actors. it’s also very common in lakorns to reunite popular pairings so that’s why you’re probably seeing the same faces again and again.
gmmtv is much the same, their productions are used to promote their own talent with some famous freelance actors cast to boost visibility & popularity of their shows, like baifern as the FL in this series.
i feel like they’re ramping up promo for christine&mae recently so surely we might hear something soon. i’ve been so hyped about this series since it was announced 💗

i can't claim i'm a dmd stan but honestly my impression is that most fans (even alot of thai fans) are beyond fed up with all the delayed projects, amongst many other things. they are just a mess.
i'm wondering if punk spy is cancelled tbh, no updates for ages now after they were workshopping last year. the casting is another issue as they're going all in on thomaskong and they were pairing up thomas and tommy so it's getting a little messy promo-wise 😂 perhaps jimmy may return as he's doing better and is more active these days.
me and who i keep forgetting about and i'm not expecting it until 2025. there's also fan boy + your sky they announced in 2022 for gen 3. i was really hyped in 2022 for alot of these projects but now? nah. i can't get excited until they actually start filming something. 😮💨

yep. the full cast was confirmed at the worship ceremony. they have a tw account too: @ zomvivorseries. they’ve posted pics of the cast. iirc james and boun didn’t attend the ceremony as boun was sick and james had another schedule, but everyone else was there.
when they announced zomvivor back in 2022 jimmy was confirmed then. likely he just has a small role so that’s why he agreed to do it. these days he’s doing alot better, he attended an event with tommy + dmd concert recently. he also has his birthday event with fans this week.
i don’t think this will have much romance in it but just hoping for a quality script and good production from dmd atp. please don’t waste such a good cast
