You're right, I guess her "out of place" character bothers me every time she & Goblin has supposed to have sweet scenes. Why does her character need to be a 19-year-old school girl :( her age has any relevance to the drama?

I actually enjoy watching the "historical" scenes more. I think those have more depths - I just couldn't reconcile the comical & I'm-so-cool character of Goblin with the serious, i-mean-business character of Kim Shin

Quite hesitant to watch this. Is this a hardcore drama? like, will I be crying in most episodes?

Overrated? Maybe... maybe not. Some scenes are quite precious - talk about human existence, value of living, spirituality. The drama has its moments. But I guess the romance stuff between Goblin & Eun Tak would have been more interesting if an older actress would play her part. Nothing against Kim Go Eun. I thinks she's one credible actress. I just find it weird seeing GongYoo with a very young-looking love interest :P

Well he acted fairly well, but not as effortless as JJS. I might be biased though hehe
