Ep. 24, the scene where Hwa Shin's mom was hitting him and he still managed to get a bite of whatever-he's-eating was so hilarious! Jo Jung Suk was effortlessly funny and cute.
JJS is potentially great in making a viewer laugh or cry when he's into his character; and that's one good sign of being a great actor. Two thumbs-up for this guy!
*SIGH* I could really imagine a sequel to this rom-com k-series.. the continuation of Hwa Shin & Pyo Na Ri's life, both in their career & family life. I would want to witness more the cleverness of the writer - how s/he would play around the script focusing on the life of the main characters as a couple, without losing both the humor & drama each character possesses. I really fell in love with this on-screen couple. They both acted so well, that there are scenes (mostly the "intimate" scenes, hehe) when I thought that they could pass as true-to-life couple! I REALLY REALLY WANT A SEQUEL TO THIS!!!!
they used the cancer angle indirecly after all ;( I dont know what to feel right now.. waiting for the next episodes.…
I was actually wondering in what remaining episodes will Hwa Shin's medical condition be brought up. Clever writer! He/she was able to think of another "complication" for the protagonist. Me thinks that for the remaining episodes, Hwa Shin will no longer persist with the marriage thing hehehe he wouldn't want to drag Na Ri from his "complicated" condition. I hope my predictions are wrong though
I really love the part when Hwa Shin asked the fortune teller, "do you think I'm capable of making this woman happy?" How selfless of him! This adorable jerk is so capable of being selfless!
Watched this last night just to see how Jo Jung Suk would give justice to his character. And I end up appreciating the entire film. Now one of my favorite Korean films. Everything in this film is just superb
Rewatched episode 20... couldn't get over that "proposal" scene. I love how Hwa Shin just allowed Na Ri to say her piece, then surprised her with "marry me" line.. aahhh super *kilig! Need to remind myself that this only happens in Kdrama world
Speechless for ep.20. How could I not fall in love with Hwa Shin... and with Jo Jung Suk. Even if he doesn't have any dialogue in some scenes, you could just empathize with him as a viewer. Darn great actor!
I think JW is perfect for Hye Won. They both project this aura of "loneliness"; I think that JW's caring & sweet character will somehow fill in the "emptiness" that Hye Won's character projects. Just a thought :)
