1) It's beautifully shot. I was thrilled by the lighting, the composition, the colors, the landscapes... Everything was very artistically thought out.
2) It was a fun watch! Amane is an amusing, endearing character with a story I can't wait to discover. As for Ryuji, he's subtly sarcastic/mocking sometimes yet really caring and I love that about him.
3) Nobody does it as well as the Japanese: show less to suggest more. The scene where Ryuji almost runs into the wall while playing basketball and comes face to face with Amane? DELIGHTFUL. Japan knows how to create huge tension out of little things like that. Every little gesture, every touch is full of meaning, even though they may seem insignificant from an external pov.
we all love Jom and Yai of course, but I also really enjoy following Mei and Ueang Peung, i love how their story is also well developed despite being the second couple and a GL. My heart broke for them after today's ep
I'm halfway through today's episode (I'm watching the uncunt version), and I'm just here to say: THEY MAKE ME SO WEAK, I HAVE TEARS IN MY EYES WATCHING THEM BEING SWEET LIKE THIS
