this series absolutely doesn't know how to transition between serious topics and fluffy light hearted ones lmaoo

I always find myself coming back to this series when I want to watch something comforting. I don't know what it is exactly about these two, but they just made their couple look so natural and domestic. Their playfulness and the way they interact verbally and physically with each other feels so real to me. They captured really well how it is to be in a loving couple.

The scene where Dean is begging Moth not to go was soooo tender, delicate and intimate yet painful. It will remain one of the best scenes i've watched in a gmmtv series. WilliamEst really know how to play heartbreak and longing

That said, the series dragged on a bit at times, and like a lot of people I was surprised by the way the story unfolded given what the trailer had shown, but I think that in the end I really enjoyed watching Dean and Moth learn to love and trust each other.
Overall, I feel like if it hadn’t been played by a duo as good as William and Est, the series wouldn’t have been as impactful. But since these two know how to work together and obviously have incredible chemistry, they managed to elevate the story and their characters brilliantly

Here are some thoughts:
-I feel like I haven’t had enough time to grow attached to Anda, which means I’m not all that interested in finding out how they solve the murder case just yet.

-I love a good ‘enemies-to-lovers’ story, it’s probably my favorite trope. This series was originally presented that way, but here we are at the third episode and they’re already kissing, So, I’m left feeling a bit unsatisfied. I was hoping that their feelings would develop as they helped each other solve the case, that mutual trust would grow between them and along the way a growing desire to get closer to one another, but in the end I feel as though I’m watching two parallel stories with little connection between them.

-Jinna and Podduang are actually really cute together, I can definitely see them as a couple. That’s probably what’ll keep me watching the series for a bit longer, just to see if it’s entertaining enough for me to stick with it until the end.

-This is the first time I've seen canned beers open this way.

-I really like how Jinna is generally very confident when he’s flirting with Podduang, but becomes shy as soon as the relationship actually progresses. I’ve seen some people who didn’t really like their first kiss, but I actually found it quite realistic for two young people kissing for the first time and still figuring things out. I thought it was clear how Jinna had been looking forward to this moment for a long time, compared to Podduang, who’s more hesitant and lets Jinna take the lead. As for whether that was intentional from the actors… I’m not sure, but we’ll see in the next kiss, lol.

-Acting is a bit stiff, especially during the more intense moments when the actors need to come across as serious or worried. I'd say they know how to portray the shyness of a first love, but otherwise, their facial expressions are often a bit flat imo

I found it hard to believe in the relationship between Babe and Charlie at first. I couldn’t quite see what had made Charlie go from being a sexfriend to a boyfriend in Babe’s eyes. I did, however, think that the way their relationship developed once they were together worked well.
Pavel was particularly impressive in his acting during Charlie’s death scene. I've rarely been so moved by the death of a character, and that's all down to Pavel and his "He's still warm" delivery.
Overall, I enjoyed the series much more than I’d expected!

Like everyone here i'm confused and disappointed about the way they wrote Anda's death and funeral. Making Jinna and Podduang say they cried a lot without actually showing us real devastating tears makes it seem like they just don't know how to act sadness and grief. It also doesn't let the viewer believe Jinna and Anda were best friends. Really weird writing choice here

episode 8 was disturbing in the best way

i really liked how Namna portrayed Jinna's shyness when he offered the gift to Podduang and said "i've got you this, i think you'll like it", with his eyes going back and forth between the gift and Podduang's face and almost holding his breath. It felt pretty real

every writer in the world needs to drop the "it was all just a dream" trope. It just makes it seem like they don't know how to end the story, and it doesn't add anything to the story

ngl Chita wasn't a character i particularly liked but his "Nour version" was hella badass i loved it

Mo and An'an deserve to take a break and go on holiday together to sip cocktails on the beach before living together happily, free from men who think they know better than them what they want and need

Somehow, knowing they're living an apocalypse and they're surrounded by danger all the time made that NC scene even more powerful and profound to me. It felt like a mixture of despair and fear of what lies ahead, but also trust in one another and a growing love

Not all ! If I'm not mistaken, the overall background music used isn't AI, as I've heard some of them in other series in the past (before AI was everywhere lol). But I read here that the music composed for the series was AI generated, so I guess the tracks that aren't on streaming platforms yet might have been generated.
I don't have any confirmation other than what I've read in the comments below, but since there's AI in the series, I wouldn't be surprised :(

At the end of ep 4 we can see A Lie kidnapped Lin Zai, and that's because he found out, thanks to his watch, that Lin Zai is immune. We can see A Lie use his watch to determine wether someone is immune or not during different scenes since the 1st episode. We don't know yet who exactly created this device but we can imagine there is a whole pharmaceutical and medical team trying to find a solution against the apocalypse and that's probably where A Lie is taking Lin Zai

it's going to be heartbreaking when James finds out that Ken is trying to kill himself and that that's the whole point of the investigation for him in the first place 🥲
