Okay, can someone tell me please, I'm really surprised and positively so, that so many series at the end of this…
It's a comedy that borrows the codes and clichés of telenovelas/soap-opera. Super funny if you like cheesy lines, exaggerated camera work and dramatic music. I personally love it
plot twist: bestfriend, team leader and café guy will end up as a hot and chaotic throuple while Doha remains oblivious to everything happening around him and goes on with his life like nothing ever happened and starts dating a secret fourth guy we've never heard of that he meets in the last episode
I also hope they get tgt. But I’m kinda confused how bcuz from the end of ep 6 it seems like maybe he’s using…
frr I'd hate it if someone used my friend's feelings to get close to me instead. I'm pretty sure they won't end up together cause with 2 episodes left, it's a bit short to develop their story 🥲 But if somehow Doha ends up with team leader, I'd love a sequel about bestie and café guy and how bestie falls for him despite his hatred 😌
thoughts after binging the 6 current episodes: It's giving 'Secret relationships but make it softer'. Not a fan of Doha's personality. Team leader seems to be the most respectful one, but I feel like the series want us to root for the bestfriend. I think the bestfriend and café guy should kiss. They have that enemy to lover energy
i know gmmtv never does sad or open endings, but here I think this would've made the series (or at least the last episode) a lot more interesting! Their story was a summer love, a romance that should've never happened if they had met in a different time and context. A lot of people experience summer romance and never see each other again once their trip is over, living their lives only with memories of a sweet but ephemeral time. Most of the series plot revolves around Wave's memory (or absence of it). In my opinion, It would have been a beautiful ending to let Davin leave the island with only that: fragments of his memory as Wave, which he would have continued to recall as he went about his daily life, without ever really being able to return to those moments. Yes, it's kinda sad, but also it would've highlighted what Lava's mom said about missing her husband: "I do nothing, i just keep living. It becomes a part of life. There were so many good memories, i don't need to forgive them. It's better to keep them and cherish them." Thank you for coming to my Ted talk 🫡
Unfortunately this wasn't for me, i liked the actors + their chemistry, and the production is obviously good, but the story lacked coherence sometimes imo. Some topics could have been explored further, while others took up too much time. Still, not bad overall, just not made for me
it's cute, it's funny, and the kiss was great!!! it's not a complex plot and i would've like the vampire stuff to be more developped, but it still deserves a higher rating imo
can someone reccomend other bls of good quality, acting and production wise, like to the level of khemjira and…
you might have already watched these, but here some thai bls recs that i think have a similar quality: Jack & Joker, I feel you linger in the air, Not me, Gelboys, I told the sunset about you
I've almost finished reading the novel and i think they did a really great job with the series!! the novel sometimes feels a bit flat imo, but they managed to give the series an interesting atmosphere and aesthetic that i couldn't find while reading the novel
I think this series would've been better if we had more scenes building their romantic relationship. Because we mostly saw Min Jun being anxious about their past and present relationship, i couldn't really understand why Jin Hwan loved him that much. Overall it wasn't that bad, but I'll probably forget about it quickly
