u have to remember tho that this is sangwoo's first experience with love and he used to think its purpose was only to procreate for a man and woman so even thinking about sex with a man still makes him nervous. he also went to the military for 2 years and came back for college so this is his first relationship. i think they also wanted to play it safe and not get marked as r-18 or 16 bc right now it was marked as for 12+ years old which even surprised them which really shows that korea is slowly opening up to same sex relationships in media judging by how semantic error was number one in watcha since its release

that epilogue was filmed early on (they filmed for 18 days for whole show) and i think it was the first kissing scene they had. the director wanted to be careful with not making it too sexual bc jaechan is young but i think both seoham and jaechan said it would be weird if they didnt even kiss in the epilogue when theyre supposed to be in relationship already for some time and also its supposed to be a time jump in the future for the story so i guess they really styled them differently in purpose.
