that epilogue was filmed early on and i think it was the first kissing scene they had. the director wanted to be careful with not making it too sexual bc jaechan is young but i think both seoham and jaechan said it would be weird if they didnt even kiss in the epilogue when theyre supposed to be in relationship already for some time and also its supposed to be a time jump in the future for the story so i guess they really styled them differently in purpose.

u should read th manhwa bc u would really appreciate the drama with how they approached things also in an interview apparently the ep 8 was the first kissing scene they filmed and the director was careful bc jaechan is still young but seoham suggested to include a kiss scene bc there wasnt even one in the epilogue originally. jaechan and seoham helped in making that epilogue and at basically at the start of filming thats why when i watched them i felt i was really watching seoham and jaechan and not jaeyoung and sangwoo while compared to the bar scene they seem to have been fully immersed in the characters

apparently kissing scene at ep 8 epilogue wasnt in the script but suggested by seoham and also jaechan and seoham discussed how to do it with the director thats why when i watched that scene in epilogue they were more like jaechan and seoham irl than sangwoo and jaeyoung to me like they were all giggly 😭

i dont think so bc i read some more in twt of interviews and it seems if ppl demanded enough for watcha they might make one and if happens im sure it will take time to write a whole script and plan everything. time moves so fast these days and before u know it we will get season 2 just like to my star! they didnt change the leads and also seoham will be out around december 2023 or january 2024 bc he has to serve 21 months since he is only a public service worker. im sure they will wait for him bc they would totally be foolish to change the actor and im sure jaechan wont accept unless its seoham

have you read the manhwa at all? bc i think they did so much better in the drama bc in the manhwa they really made jaeyoung really pushy into wanting to have sex with sangwoo bc he wanted to try a friends with benefits thing even while in drama its that two week trial as a couple. i think the ending was kinda adrupt how they ended it and i wanted them to kiss more realistically bc looking at sangwoo in that scene with the couch you could really see that it was all consensual and he wanted it! he totally trusted jaeyoung to just close his eyes and wait for whatever he was gonna do. i think it woukd have been nice if they added some neck kisses before cutting it off like that lolol the bar scene was the most impressive one for me

there is a possibility of season 2 bc the manhwa isnt even finished yet also from what i know they cant do that for those who are in enlistment lidk seoham cant earn from other sources like that while he is active in the military so what we should do is support him when he gets back as well as support jaechan's comeback with dongkiz next month

there will be more chapters from the manhwa by then and we might even get a full 16 eps of this or even longer eps

if jaechan was 10cm taller then he would be taller than seoham and their height difference would be just reversed lol jaechan is 5'10 while seoham is 6'3! plus the height diff is really cute even jaechan says that he thinks many liked the drama too bc it was cute

hey! yes i totally agree with you bc i found some questionable things in the manhwa where jaeyoung kinda forces sangwoo to make a decision instantly about whether they will be fwb or not. also esp in the car scene in the webtoon, it was straddling on the line of sexual harassment/rape bc sangwoo tells jaeyoung to stop and jaeyoung was like some wild animal who somehow couldnt understand that. in the part where they were gonna have sex in sangwoo's room, sangwoo backed out and had to even run to the restroom bc he was too overwhelmed and scared of the idea of putting a penis inside the butthole (blame also the hardcore bdsm vids he watched), jaeyoung got mad and was banging at the door even so that must have been scary for sangwoo. that is the story that i have read so far but im glad they switched it around were at the end, sangwoo was the one who wanted it to go further but then they cockblocked us all with that adrupt ending 😅 i understand tho bc jaechan is still a idol who isnt that famous yet but i super admire him for fighting for this role since at first his agency didnt want him to do it. it really shows that jaechan isnt homophobic and just doing it for the fame but bc he wants to present lgbt and prove something.

I just posted my full length review of the series but let me talk about ep 8 oh boy this will be a long one. First of all: CHU SANGWOO FINALLLY GROWS THE BALLS TO CONFESS HIS FEELINGS TO JAEYOUNG HALLELUJAH! Love the references to where Jaeyoung was telling him to not run away from his feelings and then it shows that Sangwoo finally does that and runs to chase down Jaeyoung before he left so he can confess to him and then he even kisses him to prove it. He also got that hug he wanted so bad in ep 7 pls I literally uwued 🥺 Also loved that line where Sangwoo said he's not some lead in a romance novel for Jaeyoung to not take up that job offer in France (tho he really is lol) like he is realistic and does not expect Jaeyoung to give up his dream just because of him. What he doesn't know though is that he became Jaeyoung's new dream 😭 Jaeyoung wanted to stay and make that game with him. In the manhwa, Jaeyoung going to France didn't exist and he wanted to have a friends with benefits situation because Sangwoo got horny whenever he was with Jaeyoung lmao 💀 This was after they kissed in the restaurant in the manhwa but the drama switched it with that 2 week trial couple thing. Then there was the car scene on the manhwa which spoiler alert: they would have sex there but Sangwoo backed out bc he actually researched about gay sex by purchasing hardcore BDSM porn vids and he was traumatized 😂 The webtoon had that scene where Sangwoo was saving pics and in the drama its so funny how they really put a document folder which Jaeyoung found and he said he was a pervert so I guess that was the replacement for the vids in the manhwa OOF. When you think about it that way, the drama version of that was much funnier bc they implied that Sangwoo has a stash of Jaeyoung's pics that he gets off to 🤭 I mean... that ending scene where he really wanted Jaeyoung to kiss him on that bed was pretty telling about how thirsty he was for some of that 🤪 Anyways, the ending was so adrupt though lol I wish they could have given us a deep kiss and maybe even neck kisses and then they could end it there but hey maybe we will get it in season 2 🙏🏼
