The guys honestly discussing their date experience or about the same girl they are interested in (ie. Jinwoo and Kijin) was nice to watch. The girls chose someone who likes them rather than someone they like. Wishing the best for the couples~ The show was too short so I don't think they should have made the letters anonymous.
It's a pity, could have been great, not saying it wasn't good. I loved the beginning episodes but as the story went on, male lead indecisiveness pushed me away. Hyun Bin was really handsome though. I can't believe I only got around to this classic drama now, just 15+ years late 🙃
Although I can't really remember Hana Yori Dango anymore as I watched it around the same year it came out, I like Matsujun and Mao's Domyoji and Makino better. But this version last episode modification was really good. Most changes made it fit better with this day and time and Thai culture. I also liked seeing more development of Ren and Kaning relationship compared Jap and Kor versions. They did a good job overall. I see problems with the original story. I don't think I would have been able to support it if the story was recently written, but this nostalgic story is from than a decade ago. Just a bit of warning for anyone that hasn't watched other versions or not familiar with Asian dramas in the 2000s.
Lots of pleasant surprises... - The house is the same as His Man. - Jinwoo is from Produce 101 season 2 although I don't remember him. - Guest panelists: Yabuki Nako ep 2 & 7, Tajima Shogo ep 3-4, Honda Hitomi ep 5, Kawaguchi Yurina ep 8 The time at Signal House was too short especially the last guy had 3 days there. Also with language barrier, they couldn't really get to know each other well. They didn't develop as much friendships as other dating shows did. Concept is fine but not executed well.
I am so proud of Hae Eun for choosing Han Gyu. They make such a nice and visual couple. Wishing you both happiness~ Even till the end, TaeI saying he likes Won Bin and Won Bin asked for TaeI's number ã…‹ã…‹ It really feels like breaking up with non-existent boyfriend. Can't wait for the special. I like that the ending showed how they all got along after the show and who is still dating.
Gosh, Hyun Gyu is so handsome and I love how he dealt with Jiyeon situation. He seems good at communicating. He even has Simon D crushing on him ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ It was nice to see how the boys got along compared to the girls. No one gossiped or swayed other's decisions. They took care of each other and adored Won Bin. 1. Gyu Min brought Won Bin hangover medicine, and the panelists have been teasing them. 2. During the exes revelation, Won Bin was basically leaning on Heedo. 3. Won Bin took out cucumber in Subway for Taei and Taei jokingly asked him out. Yes, I would like a special episode with just the boys lol
That's pretty much all I know. I haven't been following after that but here is his Youtube channel video where he talked about it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGw6X_3TjUA
I'm so~ proud of Yi Cheng, everything he was able to do and achieve, except his first wife. He did amazing! I just want to give him a huge hug. I shed tears in earlier episodes; the child actors did so well! But I cried buckets in the final. *final ep spoiler* I'm so glad Yi Cheng survived after all that he went through (not gonna lie, I would be pretty mad at the scriptwriter otherwise). I love Qiqi for working hard and understanding that Yi Cheng had a hard time looking after the whole family. He was happy to give his kidney.
I finally just re-watched it and I am so mad and sad for the trainees. X1 would be killing the charts right now and I don't think any of them are doing anywhere as well as X1 could be. It is also really sad to see many of them separated. Especially in episode 11, all the trainees seem to get along well and were supportive of each other (ie. Jinhyuk and Tony seemed close although they had never been in a group together). I also felt really bad for Jinwoo's wrongful elimination and he's not even in my top 11. The worst part is he couldn't even register that Pretty Girl could have been his last stage, given he was ranking really well. They still had the audacity to show the boys hugging and crying with Jinwoo. They even did dirty to Jinhyuk in preview for episode 12, only showing he was struggling in recording (what a way to give back to a trainee who hard carried X position evaluation). The one who had it worst is definitely Donghyun, considering that he was from the smallest company among the victims. I wish they didn't disband X1 and found a different solution like adding the 3 victims of final voting into the group. The group would definitely do really well so I'm sure they won't suffer much financially. There is nothing producers could do to compensate for the losses of the trainees. I re-watch idol survival shows every year but this one took a while to re-watch because I feel so bad about how it went down. I'm glad I did though; I really miss them together.
I don't understand what Jihyun was doing on a show that's only a week long except maybe she wasn't interested in dating any of them... Also, it was not a good idea to add an extra guy so late in the show. I don't know if Nayeon & Junghyun are still together but Yuna & Seungjae are definitely not. I just saw Seungjae's Youtube video saying he had a hard time after the show and he moved to Thailand. Not sure if it is directly related to the show but it seems pretty seious. I don't want to make any assumptions; I was just shocked to find out.
Well written, directed and acted - realistic & heartbreaking. Everyone made mistakes and everyone was hurt. I cried during last episode. They wrapped it up well.
All I wanted was for Jeonghyun to be happy and he seems to be doing fine. He reently said Changyu is very kind, helping him with first Youtube blog of them (wish there was more of their interactions on the show since they seem to get along well). Healso mentioned that he learned a lot from the show and the hyungs. Anyways, I am happy I got to know Jeonghyun and best wishes for Jeonghyun, Changyu and Eunchan!
Just wondering if the drama gets significantly better after ep 4 cause I'm thinking of dropping. I'm not saying drama is bad, it might just be not my cup of tea.
Gosh, Jeonghyunie is too precious. Just one word / explanation from Changmin and he gave his brightest smiles. I was so happy for him in ep 8! He is sweet too, when everyone is around, he doesn't stick to Changmin but hang out with everyone. He is so excited he uploaded insta stories after the episodes aired. Just walk on flower path from now~ The way Changgyu and Eunchan let go of someone they like too. Hope you both will find someone... I can't wait for the finale but I also don't want it to end. Petition for Changmin and Jeonghyun youtube channel! ><
I like Jeonghyun. He brightens up the atmosphere and he is kind, doing others' makeup and hair. I cried for him in ep 6. He is so young (born in 2002), same age as NCT and TXT maknaes (Jisung, Huening Kai & Taehyun) to put into perspective. I just want him to be happy. 🥺
