Comedy + Horror = A new level for Zombie Dramas/Movies (Worth a watch in everyway possible)
When I first saw this drama, I had misgivings. I thought this was like many other zombie dramas and the casting wasn't very convincing but still, I gave it a try, and I'm glad I did.
The thing that sets this drama apart from other zombie dramas out there is that this drama is mixed with comedy. And instead of infighting between survivors, the survivors act as a team and sacrifice themselves for the others. And we get to see 2 viewpoints of the zombie outbreak, one from the FL's side and one from the ML's side. Although the story is juggling between stories from 2 different viewpoints, strangely it wasn't awkward and felt like they were connected. Here the ML and FL start from 2 different locations during the onset of the outbreak and they both desprestely try to meet each other. And we get to see the trials both of them had to go through to come together. Their fear, sadness, helplessness, grieving, hope, determination etc.
The fact that it is mixed with comedy gives the viewers hope for a good ending for the characters. The fact that they managed to combine, horror, with comedy and still managed to make this drama intense, deserves praise on its own.
The actors and actresses in this drama are great. They did an amazing job, so kudos to the cast. (And I'm so sorry I judged the cast without giving this a try first)
Also, This drama is a 10/10 for me. Of all the zombie movies I have watched so far, the drama has the lowest zombie difficulty level. 😂😂 It's funny, sad, intense all at the same time.
