I rate this drama 9/10 overall simply because I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. However, I am not blind to many of it's flaws. But still, my likes outnumbered my dislikes.
Dislikes;
1. The story lacked cohesive plot.
2. Agus was a very ineffective antagonist.
3. The scripts for non-Koreans were terribly written.
4. Reality was abandoned entirely when it came to injuries obtained by Yoo Shi Jin.
Likes;
1. Humour in this drama is one of the best I've seen in Kdrama. The comic timings were perfect.
2. I loved the cute banter between the couples. Unfortunately, a lot of it was lost in translation.
3. Bromance between Yoo Shi Jin and Seo Dae Yeong was very endearing.
4. The camaraderie among the soldiers and the medical staff was very heartfelt.
5. The chemistry between the couples was very good.
6. Humanising a North Korean soldier.
For me, the action part of this drama left me a bit cold but what saved it was the actual romance and the humour.
