Wdym cringe? Plsss mdl users always have sum negative to say
This has nothing to do with us being on mdl we’re only commenting on one aspect like we would do on any show - and by cringe I personally meant that bc of how good the show is, this part in particular felt off, nothing more —_—
I'm so glad they didn't skip on Chohui's story, because usually they could've make her give up saying anything 'out loud', but they didn't and I was relieved
Also how is it that almost every time they bring foreign characters (who speak english) in kdramas they are always so cringe ? it's too bad in this case because it really broke the very serious and professional aspect of the show in general
I finally finished the show and I'm so emotionally worn out tbh haha The actors played such a big role because I really think they portrayed the characters perfectly Even Hoyeon for her first ever role she was amazing and I completely fell for her
I was really looking forward to Du Sik’s "secret" and I’m not disappointed… it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting so I’m glad in a way lol
Also I like how they did a "breakup but not breakup" thing I thought it was more interesting since it really showed the growth of Hyejin but we still have 2 episodes to go and they can still come up with surprising things maybe Because he still believes people he loves die around him so I’m wondering if they’ll play more with that or not !
No. He likes to think he is a bad guy and puts on the act to get his money but he really is helpless when comes…
I’m only judging from what I felt from the first episode though. Obviously there will always be conflict but it’s not like the classical drama relationship in my opinion.
I only just finished the first episode but I really wanted to comment that I wasn’t expecting such a dynamic ! When I read the story I thought that would be a bad guy-good girl thing, which I don’t mind usually, but I was really surprised at how it starts in a very ‘non toxic’ way I love the fact that they’re both from a rich background and skilled but in their own field
I’m really perplexed about the last 2 episodes it feels like they’re just using random scenes to fill the gaps instead of making scenes longer (like usual dramas)… I like the fact that they’re using a more modern realisation but I wouldn’t have minded more of the main plots
Episode 12 was like the overdose of sweetness we get before the storm comes up… if feel like the storyline wasn’t too dramatic until now so I’m really wondering if they will make some really dramatic plot twists or not
Also I’m so moved by the side couples somehow (the divorced one and Miseon’s)
In my opinion not that these relationships feel like the greatest but somehow I find it kind of poetic how they are realistic in a way. The vibe reminds me of Twelve nights, like I’m not expecting them to suddenly become a perfect couple but I like how none of them are either bad or good
I was about to ask why Gyu Hyun’s face never appeared in the last ep because I thought it meant smth in the scenario but I actually just saw it’s because of a scandal 😑
I was already expecting a "wrong" love story in a way but somehow it's not toxic in the same way as most dramas and I'm lowkey loving it lmao Also I'm so invested in all of the couples of the story really... even if I wish some details were more talked about, overall it's so refreshing to have more realistic relationships
how does this drama feels so wrong but good at the same time ? I'm truly hoping we can get a true character development for both tbh (and I'm in love with the secondary couples omg)
