Aew loves Teh loves for sure, its just not romantic. You can deeply care about and love a friend without any passionate feelings. What I meant is the romantic love is one sided.

As long as it doesn't have a ridiculous reversal like MODC, I am still ok with it. I also don't want to analyze it too much and leave it to the series but my brain just can't stop thinking about them and all the possibilities of how things will progress!??

In the audition scene Teh says he hopes his friend can also get in, so Aew has still not be admitted. Also why does Teh have to go through audition if he is already admitted!
It really sucks because Aew really cares about Teh as a friend but has absolutely no romantic feelings for him. So even if Teh realizes his feelings and confesses, it can become burdensome to Aew. I just hope it gets resolved either way, so that he can move forward and makes no stupid sacrifice like giving up his seat.

I also thought that but I hope it doesn't end up like that and Teh doesn't make that sacrifice.

I feel like this one is going to end up a story up unrequited love. If this story is in retrospect and the first scene of episode 1 is the ending, Teh still refers to Aew as a friend and the way he speaks feels like they are no longer in touch. I don't mind a well crafted story of unrequited love but man, it still sucks.
p.s. I made a mistake about the retrospect theory. Sorry for the confusion, guys!??

Robin, this kind of thing, I don't know what I can say to convince you of my point of view. I will give it a try.
You say Teh doesn't act like he is really sorry. Sometimes unintended words have serious consequences, but the onus is not on Teh entirely. He was just a 12-13 old kid who felt deceived as if his dreams had been stolen by his best friend and said something harsh as a momentary reaction. After that things went downhill. Since they have already resumed their friendship, I don't think Teh needs to continuously suffer from guilt and try to constantly makeup to Aew. That's just absurd. The use of girlfriend was also wrong, but again not designed. I think he will apologize to her in the future.
I just think you have a strict standard, and judging him too harshly. But in real life love really works that way. Even the best of people end of hurting others in the throes of love, not to mention a teenager experiencing all these intense emotions for the first time, emotions he doesn't completely understand.

A masterful portrayal of the maladies of fledgling teenage love. Confused emotions from failing to separate friendship and romantic attraction, longing , pain from unrequited feelings, utter joy from being together, jealousy and the desire to possess; love is indeed like a storm sweeping through the mind, enmeshing all the emotions. A teenage love is indeed special. Unlike the managed emotions of an adult who has learned to protect oneself , it is desperate and total. Such intricacies are rarely portrayed in dramas, more so in gay-themed dramas which unfortunately have a general lower quality. A must watch for al bl fans.
From a general reading of the comment section, people please remember they are not experienced in love and cut Teh some slack . On one hand , he wants to do right by his friends, but the bitterness of unreciprocated feeling takes over, making him manipulative and hurtful to others. Only when you grow up, you gradually learn to exercise restraint. So don't be to quick to judge him by adult standards.
