Just started watching and it just feels weird. Everybody seems to have an unhealthy level of interest on whom Tanaka's dating. That all they talk about for two eps, and then randomly asking him to kiss out of the blue, makes no sense
Just watched the first two episodes and I cant make head or tail of the story. First the MC seemed so gullible and her Aunt easily poisoned. The residents of the island seemed to be experts who could easily deal with it, then all of a sudden they are all taken down, but then the helpless aunt easily defeats those mercenaries!! Also mc forgot the past and partially remembered something and then again forgot everything in the same episode, its two layers of amnesia, one on top of the other. What a freaking mess, what did I just watch
I know it's ridiculous but why do I feel like Rowon is the actual agent of love? I mean he can feel when others…
I had the exact same feeling at the end of ep 6. He is so perceptive towards any covert expressions of intimacy so that his chest pain flares up! ANd he is a widower too on top of that.
I wish he knew too, and think he should have suspected it at least when he realised Captain Leng took him in after…
Nice comment. However, I think there is a difference between the inherent uncobservability of complete truth and not pursuing obvious leads. If truth is only partially pursued then any judgement based on the revealed facts is arbitrary which could be overturned as more is known. In a way, the pursuer is only uncovering facts which vindicates his pre-concieved views rather than forming views based on truth.
The irony is San Geng colluded with Lu Zhi to get the Magistrate killed, but in a way he was the only one who cared to avenge his forgotten father in the course of avenging his friend. I would have really liked to see what choice San Geng made when faced with the horrendous truth of his father's death.
At some point they say that it is very difficult to be virtuous in the real world. However, Captain Leng's choice can hardly be pinned on his circumstances. He went ahead with this vicious plan largely for his share of the loot and so that he could be united with his mistress. They have tried to paint him as a conflicted character, but he was mostly an evil man. What Sangeng did is to avenge someone who was good to him. All this talk about he being a conflicted character was mostly in order to justify his allegience to an evil person.
Yeah my only regret with this drama is that they didn’t tell Sangeng that his shifu killed his father.
This is a loose end. This whole drama is about avenging and Sangeng's father feels like a sorry character, an honest man forgotten and ignored even by his son. Sangeng clearly knew his father died in the fire and the fire was caused by Lu Zhi and also his father but never bothered to give it much thought. Even if he didnt know he was directly murdered by his Shifu, just this much should be enough to raise suspicions.
It seems like it, since Yoon Jae is never called by number 13 (it's his number), since Ep 1 Number 11 (Sung Hoon)…
Thanks for the perspective. So, the judges adoptive mother also had some involvement with Hope Welfare Center and maybe his adoptive dad was presiding on the case and he let it go as his wife was involved! "Yoon Jae is never called by number 13 (it's his number), since Ep 1 Number 13 (Sung Hoon) asks everyone "where is Yoon Jae?"" which was is no 13, yoonjae or sung hoon?
So Yoon Jae is the judge's real brother right. Why is he targeting his own brother? And what's all this got to do with with the Chef's brother? 24 is Chef's brother. Has he been shown? I am getting everything mixed up, can someone clear this for me please!!
yes lol.... just a hypthetical guess, could RSH stabbing is just mainpulated one?(not sure)
RSH may not be the killer but he is no saint either, to do something this great. He knew he was the adopted one but kept RSJ thinking of himself as adopted for the longest time without ever correcting him and suspecting him for no reason. Never treated his brother nicely but suddenly wants to be the mentor of that girl! I am not buying it.
