Yes I watched the whole episode to seven and yes Jin Yan is more fitting for the character since Jiang Li in the novel is cunning and scheming.
So, that said she is fit as Jiang Li (with Xue Fang Fei vengeful heart)
I dont like the actress, but in here she is indeed fit for the role.

And Yang Chao as the real pure hearted Jiang Li fits her role, but she still wouldnt pull off the scheming role of sly possessed Jang Li

It doesnt mean Jiang Li was ugly. Yes she is also beautiful.
Jin Yan the actress is indeed also beautiful.

The novel described Jiang Li as beautiful but Xue FangFei is by far more beautiful and outstanding which is why I said the Yang Chao should have been the MC.
That doesnt mean I said MC is not beautiful, I just see the other actress as prettier than the other.
Hence for me I see the casting as mismatched.

Watching more I realises they changed the plot of soul possesion to identity possession.

That being said then main actress as the main lead wont have problems then if they went to that route.
