LOLLLL I JUST FINISHED EPISODE 1 TOO-- I read your "this drama is on crack" comment when I was only halfway through so I was like "wdym? it's pretty normal" until the intense makeout scene, sex proposition, dramatic car accident and convenient death of boyfriend.... then the HIKING? Like holy CRAP xD

I'm at episode 3 too. I can kind of see that because when he first woke up he looked just as stern and cold as he usually does. But like when he was refusing to eat... what purpose would that serve? And it's hard for me to believe that he would let himself be taken care of by his mom when he basically hates her guts right now.

I just finished episode 1 and I'm already absorbed. I'm going to attempt to space the episodes out so I won't be waiting for the last ones but let's be honest, I'm not gonna last until June LOL by then I'll probably be begging for the next ones xD

Lol don't worry, after they get together it'll be worth it. I don't think I've ever seen a sweeter couple in cdrama land. No misunderstandings, no toxic stuff, no families against their relationship, no crazy exes... and like 10 episodes of just sweetness and relationship growth<3

WOAH 7 episodes already out? I thought this thing started airing like yesterday lol

Guys, Tantai Jin had his redemption arc. All the misunderstandings between him and Li Susu were finally cleared. As a god, Susu can now sense the true heart and intentions of people. Tantai Jin's beautiful white clothes that we see after he sheds his demon god robes were symbolic of his pure, selfless, and brave heart. He didn't die a slave to evil or the destiny of the demon god, he died on his own terms, and for his own purposes--- in the hands of the woman he loved, and for the world. He overcame the cruel fate that had been haunting him all his life. And now, when he comes back, he'll come back as Tantai Jin-- a husband, a father, and a hero--- not as anybody else.

Quite sure that final view of Tantai Jin inside the heart-protecting scale meant that Li Susu had gathered his soul fragments and would eventually resurrect him. By then, he can be reunited with Li Susu and their lovely daughter <3

(Surprisingly positive) THOUGHTS ON THE ENDING:

I honestly thought it was quite fitting. ***SPOILERS BELOW***





I mean, Susu didn't die, and she had a lovely little girl and told her all about how brave and pure-hearted her father was. Demons and mortals and immortals live in peace. Susu had been collecting Tantai Jin's soul fragments, keeping them in the heart-protecting shell, with the possibility of one day resurrecting him. It's an open ending more than anything, not sad.

The best part of this romance is that there aren't any stupid misunderstandings like literally every other drama lol

SAME I couldn't wait for 40 but finally caught up to 39 lol

I now hate GYJW more than I ever hated Xiao Lin... and what's crazy is I hate GYJW even more than I hate Mo Nu, which I didn't think was possible since she's got Tian Huan's face. But please please PLEASE let there be a happy ending tomorrow efbajlsdbfljadsblfj

Dammit all these damn immortal sect members always frickin piss me off. Reckless, thoughtless, quick to jump to conclusions, and always hurting people who don't deserve it. EVERY SINGLE XIANXIA, I swear, EVERY SINGLE ONE.

Alright time to get caught up on the last three episodes to get ready for tomorrow lol

I mean it was stupid, really. The guy betrayed his wife for power and it lead to her death. That should've been a major red flag for them.
