On episode one- and she said she lives in Gwanghwamun! If anyone hasn't heard it yet Kyuhyun released a beautiful song called "At Gwanghwamun" a few years ago- have a listen if you can appreciate a good ballad!
A silent breeze blows on Sisheng peak The souls of those who once waited for Immortality Can be heard, wailing in the distance. The moon rises and falls, but the days remain the same, All bleeding into one; for the hope of the first episode Airing in this century is all but gone.
Just finished it for the first time... and I'm still bawling my eyes out!!! They couldn't even let her off after…
Yes he does! Yanhui goes around and gathers bits of his soul before they disperse and they form a dragon egg. He hatches within a few days and eventually even gets all of his body parts back. They fight Suying in the beginning and near the end, but she's not necessarily the main villain. In the middle she's frozen for like 10 episodes which gives viewers a nice break from her antics.
No waaay, this drama used to be an 8.4!!! How did it get to a 7.7??? Can someone explain why with minimal spoilers? I thought everybody was liking this drama...
Is it a web drama? Is it angsty? I just finished TTEOTM and I don't know if I should watch this
Definitely lots of heartwarming and comedic moments, but stock up on tissues for one episode in the latter half of the drama.... only one! But MAN was I bawling-- don't let anyone fool you into thinking there are zero sad scenes lol
Wow this drama definitely exceeded my expectations! I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually enjoyed it…
I actually don't think I've watched ANY xianxia where both the male and female leads were fleshed out so well. Both of them were such logical, three dimensional characters. Heck, even the villains got their own stories and were so much more than their traditional roles. Side characters who you thought you'd never see again actually ended up tying into the whole story and playing a role in unravelling the plot... and Yanhui's parentage didn't even matter, the choices she made did! So refreshing <3
Wow this drama definitely exceeded my expectations! I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually enjoyed it more than Till the End of the Moon! It's definitely in my top three right now.... right up there with Ashes of Love, and I haven't found ANY drama that has come close to Ashes of Love.
Just finished it for the first time... and I'm still bawling my eyes out!!! They couldn't even let her off after she died and lost the one she loved the most in exchange. They couldn't even do that!!! Just heartbreaking.
Wow I've been watching this drama for a week and I'm only 15 episodes in... just realized I'm not even halfway! Excited to have more to watch but I also get the feeling it's a lot more episodes for stuff to go WRONG in.... this is a xianxia after all, even though so far it's a more light-hearted one...
I KNEW we'd get a conclusion to the whole daughter of a japanese mob boss thing LMAO I knew we'd see her face too-- so glad it happened- and can I just say damn she's gorgeous? Like they rlly had her face covered the entire drama lol
I'm on episode 13 and I'm already frustrated with how they're dragging out this Zhou RuJi vs. Xin Qi thing. Xin…
Yeah I've been feeling bad for Xin Qi the entire time lol
I mean I know it must not have been easy for Min Hui as a single mother all those years but like that's no excuse to treat Xin Qi (who, unlike a lot of fathers, actually WANTS to be a part of his child's life) like crap.
Every little bump in their relationship somehow grows into a mountain that takes them 20 episodes to climb over xD like damn just take some time to properly communicate

I just finished episode 17 and I feel like their whole relationship is just one step forward, two steps back. Any time there's a glimmer of hope for the male lead and their relationship's progress, something has to happen. It's so frustrating LOL

Like gosh darn she's gorgeous why'd they have to cover up her face the entire drama? xDD
