I really liked this in the beginning, Singto and Tae had great chemistry together. but then they added a transphobic…
Didn't seem like transphobia to me; the manager just happened to be trans. But the problem was that she was manipulative & money-hungry. They were right to condemn her actions- especially when Yacht confronted her & talked to her abt it.
The slapping earlier on was a bit too much, but to be fair... when she was getting slapped she tried to get out of it by basically saying "how could you slap a woman?" And when the other manager was slapping her he literally said it doesn't matter if she's a man or a woman- she deserved it.
I personally think the slapping went too far, but again, I'm trying to see where the transphobia is because to me they were just pissed off at her repetitive, wrong actions.
can i start watching this series? is this worth watching?
I personally think it IS worth watching. I love the dynamic between Akk and Theo & the other guys add an element of mystery to the show (not to mention, the soundtrack is amazing). The show isn't finished yet so if you don't wanna wait for an episode each week, you can wait until it is done in a month (ep 6/10 comes out tmrw). My advice to you is to not read any comments (mydramalist OR youtube) before or while you're watching the drama because there are many, many spoilers there-- and the mystery part of the whole series is who Enchanté is, so it would be a shame if that was spoiled.
Loved the show. It was so refreshing to see yacht as such a pure character. Singto stole my heart away as usual.…
SAAAMEEE Yacht was so pure in this drama lmaoooo I couldn't help but think about his other characters and how they were so VERY different from this one xD
I'm on episode 6 and I'm actually really enjoying this show! It's very different from others airing because it's got more mature characters (not university aged, basically). And I think you're right, it's heart-warming with the perfect amount of comedy at the same time. I never expected their pairing, but Singto and Tae are brilliant in this <3
Btw that JackKoh scene in ep 9 made my heart happy. Not to mention the cool fairy tale elf performance right after with everyone looking simply ethereal xDD
Kalae's devil outfit is SO over the top that I laughed when I saw it but in all honesty it's actually really good :DD
I absolutely LOVE how Phap & Nae are working together to give Maze a taste of his own medicine.

Don't wanna ruin the surprise ;)
