Judging by the preview I think they're going the Hatano route. It looks like maybe Mob will even be showing—if not that he has romantic feelings for Hatano, then at least that he cares for him & cares about what he thinks.

I agree that the whole Kikuchi thing seems out of character. I don't think it would've gone that route if Kikuchi simply would've stopped to talk to Mob instead of hiding.

The way Kikuchi just yeeted himself out of frame when he saw Mob coming was absolutely hilarious

In the drama, Mob and Hatano are 20 and 18 (since ep 5). In real life, the actors are 31 and 29. At least the age gap is consistent LOL

Side note: Hatano's actor looks ridiculously young for his age. He's 7 yrs older than I am but I swear he looks younger than me

I'm a little confused... is it illegal for a 17-year-old and a 20-year-old to date in Japan? Because my 14-year-old classmate dated an 18-year-old college student back when we were in grade 9 due to the close-in-age exception (it would've been illegal if he was 19)... and here, the legal age of consent is 16, so even a 16 year-old and a 20-year-old can date if they like.

i.e. one minute you're sneezing, the next, a potential love interest is handing you a tissue, and that's how you meet your future boyfriend lol

Yes the acting is not great... I just powered through it for the sake of finishing. In comparison I just finished "Old Fashion Cupcake" and oh my goodness the acting was many, many levels above this. I know these actors here are still relatively new so I hope they'll get more opportunities to improve in the future.

Dude the acting in this drama has NO BUSINESS being this good!!! Why haven't I seen this before?! I'm so impressed. I watched a JBL a few weeks ago and was very disappointed with the acting, but found the rating was as high as 7.6 — how is this one only a 7.9 in comparison?! It deserves over 8 for sure
