Lol... i think next time everyone should stick to “chinese title” first before they officially release the…
Fr, having 2 names is super confusing- I searched up "agarwood like crumbs" on dramalist trying to find this drama and nothing came up LMAOOO took a while to realize that it was called Immortal Samsara here
Okay, I give up. Saw some gifsets on tumblr and now I'm curious. Can someone tell me how much bullying, violence,…
Very minor spoilers and my personal opinion about the story:
Big power imbalance, but mostly only because Hira views Kiyoi as a King. Kiyoi asks Hira to fetch him drinks, but at the same time defends him from being bullied by the other guys. Kiyoi calls Hira "gross" [translated as "disgusting," but gross or creepy is more accurate I believe] but at the same time smiles at him affectionately when he calls him "stalker" (bcs Hira follows him around everywhere). Hira has grown more confident/come out of his shell more since he met Kiyoi (it gave him the confidence to stand up to a bully in ep 3).
I personally think the show is really not that bad with all those things you mentioned. I have a feeling that Kiyoi likes Hira as well but just shows it differently (or doesn't really know how to show it at all). Hira is the only one who likes Kiyoi for Kiyoi and not just because he's popular (like his fake friends).
So all in all, since meeting each other Hira has someone to look up to who has given him the confidence to come out of his shell more, and Kiyoi has met someone who truly likes him for him and who he can share some of his secrets with. I personally think the story is about the relationship between two people who still haven't quite figured themselves out yet, but who grow together. I'm excited to see how everything plays out during ep 4 when they meet again after highschool <3
i'm slowly dying here so someone please share with us the free link
BLESS your beautiful heart! I watched ep 3 yesterday and had to google translate most of the sentences, my hands were KILLING me- so thanks for sharing the link to eng sub!
ok but wtf is that ginger drink kiyoi is always drinking?!?! it just looks gross af
Don't tell me you've never had ginger ale?!!!! I've got some in my fridge right now LMAOO it's really good. Ginger Ale is refreshing and tasty and very popular in America (where I happen to reside) and pretty much all over the world... or so I thought! The more intense version would be ginger beer, which is MUCH stronger and is definitely more of an acquired taste- but it's not nearly as popular.
But every genre has their not-so-good dramas. You just gotta make sure you start off with a great one ;)
