I feel you I’ve been playing the osts nonstop. I’ll probably keep my YOUKU membership (bought membership just for TSL 😂) active until I finish my 2nd round of rewatching TSL. & wait awhile to see if we’ll get an update on the possibility of getting a special episode. Even if they’re really just teasing us, @ least give us an official statement of yes or no, so I’m not just waiting upon my own wishful thinking of being able to visually see their happy ever afters in human form. :’(
Waking up today & facing the reality of us no longer receiving new episodes, because the drama has ended got me feeling somewhat sad & empty. 🥺 Missing Youqin, Yetan, Chaofeng & Qui so much! I guess my rewatch binge of TSL starts today. Any updates on the possibility of us getting a special episode yet?

It’s an happy open ended ending of the flower twin sisters being revived again. But I guess it’s really up to our imagination to complete it with the happy ending that we want to see. :( There are talks about us possibly getting a special episode but nothing’s official yet.

No, the novel has a sad ending, the main couple (Xuan Shang & Yetan) sacrificed themselves to save the world. So I would say the drama has a happier ending, since the twin flower sisters has the chance of being revived, & considering neither of the ML’s lost their lives.
Omg, omg please be true I’m not ready to say goodbye either. And we as audience deserve to see a proper happy ending with screen time of the main couples. Hoping for an additional happy closure! :’(
Anyone knows if TSL will get an official special episode or is it just our wishful thinking? :( It’s still a 10/10, for me despite the ‘happy’ open ended ending . Do not let a unsatisfying ending stop you (future viewers) from starting this Cdrama. I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! I will definitely be yearning on TSL for awhile, as the days ahead of me are now empty with nothing for me to look forward to watching everyday. A rewatch anyone? I’ll prepare the popcorn! <3
Yup, my happy ending was when Hee Do & Yi - Jin went & bought matching suitcases. The end! I'll still give it my 9.0 rating though, because I really did enjoyed the drama and I'm not going to let a sad with a hit of reality ending ruin that enjoyment for me. <3
