Y’all are too funny! （≧ｙ≦＊）in that case, I think the mother in law (aka: grandma ) description will fit me best. Because although both sides of my family are arguing over which child is better. I’m just over here shielding them like everything will be okay. The both of you are the best, no one is better or worser then the other. Lol it is true tho whenever I try to point out good points about NDS’s side I get attack, if I point out HJP’s good side I get attack. My reason for pointing out the pros and good side of each ML is to say they’re not perfect but they’re good enough! It’s not just ep 9 it’s been portrayed very early on ever since the episodes of when Alex came to find him. (Within the flashbacks) plus he apologizes for everything he does, it should’ve been somewhat obvious. :) I personally believe that his backstory isn’t to gain sympathy or to stronger the ship from the audience. It is just simply there to explain him as the sweet and apologetic character he is. :))
I feel the writers dropped the ball, by not introducing NDS backstory earlier. HJP got his heart wrenching backstory…

NDS - The reason why he is so insecure and unsure about every single step he’s about to take or make, including with his own self, is because he basically grew up in an environment where he is always under the pressure of having to aim for the best out of the best, he has to get 100 out of 100 with no exception, just to be praise from his parents or even just to make them feel happy and proud. If he gets even a little bit below that, his parents ( especially his dad) will yell at him and ask him why did he got a 98% out of 100%. Like NDS said, “I’ve been trying so hard to impress you dad, I’m tired too!” It’s sad to see that you won’t even praise or be proud of your child if he doesn’t receive or get what you want. NDS’s dad should’ve been proud of him regardless if he’s the CEO or not. Because Sam Tech along with Noon- Gil is NDS’s creation plus he got his business into Sand Box! So why does the top position matter? At least he’s going somewhere and is making progress with his business. If I grew up with tiger parents like NDS I would be insecure about myself too. Because no matter how well I do it’s never good enough. So far, SDM is one of the few people who truly supports him on what he wants to do and on what he loves.

It’s somewhat getting toxic here with all this shipping talk. I’m not a shipper of anyone, why? Because it doesn’t really matter who SDM decides to go for, she has two good men up her alley. Both of the ML has done a lot for her, been through a lot with her, and supported her all the way through no matter what the scenario is, Thick and thin. HJP - He’s very up tight about himself and is honest about most things because he was an orphan who probably grew up in an harsh world where the word no and the honesty of truth is said a lot without giving him a chance to show them what he’s got, until he met SDM’s grandmother. Living the life he has lived has eager him to aim as high as possible. Which he did and that’s great! But what he doesn’t know or at least denies is how he truly feels towards others because he’s always so occupied with work. Love is somewhat unusual to him since he’s been alone almost his whole life. Expressing yourself to others can be difficult at times especially if you’ve been keeping things to yourself. You don’t often realize that you want it until someone has already grabbed it.
Overall this drama isn’t about love primarily. It’s about people who are going through struggles in life, but is still working hard in the hopes of achieving their goals so that they can live the life of their dreams! To me, the romance and love triangle is more like a special sweet treat it’s just there to stir things up a bit! (Haha! :D) It served it’s purpose real good!! (As you can see in the comments below!) I’ve never felt this connected to a drama before, it is one of the best realistically portrayed dramas that there is out there! I can relate to so many things in my life to Startup. I’ve cried along with them when things got tough, I’ve laughed at funny moments, and jumped out of joy with them when the success is succeed! Watching this drama has made me come to a few realizations of myself too! I love what the plot has offered me so far, and can’t wait to see the rest! Everything is well written and well thought out. All the casts did such an AMAZING, AMAZING... job portraying/bringing their characters to life! I will definitely be following this drama until the very end, it’s obvious who she will end up with but I support both ships regardless!! :))

2 weeks is no joke, I can feel my life and breath getting shorter and shorter slowly day by day as I wait for the next episode to approach. It’s getting too too dreadful! I feel like someone who is forever waiting for their long lost lover to return, never really knowing when, or if they’ll ever get a chance to reunite again (and that’s how you know that I watch too many dramas lol!)
Hopefully October 13th is the official resuming back to airing date. *My fingers crossed*

The first episode did not disappoint. I find myself laughing a lot out of enjoyment and it’s just the first episode! :D
The interactions between the leads are funny and cute at the same time. I’m liking the chemistry so far between these two!! I’m for certain that I will be following this drama until the very end. <3
I just finished it raw and let me just say, it’s one of the sweetest and happiest endings that you could’ve ever wished for in a happy ending! I loved every single moment of this drama, both of the leads are clever, never falling into any of the schemes that is set up by the evil characters. Li Hong Bin and Xiong Xiruo overcomes it with complete trust in each other, they always have each other’s backs! There are of course, some mini annoying moments but what is a drama without any annoyance mixing into the sugary love? The in laws are also funny, sweet and lovable which I love because it’s something you rarely see in a drama plot. It makes the drama feels somewhat so refreshing! They have nothing but love towards their daughter in law!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to anyone who is looking for a light hearted, drama filled with lots of fun that will put you in laughter along with a strong bond of love and trust that will give you a stomach full of butterflies!

Because he has made it very clear that he loves her SEVERAL TIMES, but she has kind of left him hanging there for quite a long time without giving him a clear answer on where she stands in their relationship. (It’s obvious, on where she stands, but I want a conformation/confession from her. In my opinion, she left him hanging long enough! If FL doesn’t want him, I’ll take him shoot...Li Hong Bin deserves some love back!!) Lol! （＞ｙ＜）

I was at episode 29 when I came across the news about the fan meet where Cheng Yi couldn't have a normal interaction…
Don't let their work affairs affect you on wanting to continue on watching L&R or not. Behind the eyes of their agency's orders for the both of them to distance and have less interaction with each other during the L&R farewell event , Cheng Yi and Bing Yuan are actually good friends, they are comfortable around each other, and they get along with each other just fine. (As you can see in previous interviews before the farewell event and from the L&R bts.) The agencies had their reasons they (the agencies) just handled it messy.
Cheng Yi and Bing Yuan's acting deserves the watch, the both of them did such a incredible job portraying their beautiful yet must be difficult to play characters! (I can't imagine anyone else taking on the roles of Sifeng and Xuanji) The story itself is worth unfolding all the way to the finish line! it is a unique, heart wrenching yet a heartwarming story at the same time. It is filled with a love so rare and so so pure!!
I don't think we'll ever see anything this good again for a couple of years. If you can do pick it back up :) I promise you everything will be worth it!
