I watched the first two episodes of In Your Radiant Season when it started airing, and I strongly suspected that the opening sequence was made with ai. I think the work by the male lead, a fucking animator, was made with/by? ai as well (at least in the first 2 eps). When they tried selling the most generic ai slop character as romantic with the line: 'ohh doesn't this look like Song Ha Ran???', I got so annoyed I had to stop watching. lol I'm a little sad I missed out on this drama though, so thanks for your review!! 🥰

Aww, I'm sad about #5. Because I liked the concept and some of the actors, I tried the first episode a while back but wasn't really feeling it. I thought I'd give it another chance if you had said it got better, but ughhhh....

All of your points about Romantics Anon are sooooo true. Love that the viewers only got Hiro's comment to Hana: "You've been looking at Sosuke this whole time.", because otherwise how was I supposed to know that there was some 'looking' happening???? While I do think that Hana and Sosuke had chemistry, it felt like the drama was desperately trying to trap Hana in a romance plotline with Sosuke without adding any actual romance to it. And suddenly going to Bali to immediately meet robbers only so that Sosuke could teleport there to save her and look cool and never have to change his sweaty shirts again???? One of the reasons why I finished it so quickly was because I just got increasingly annoyed and wanted to be done thinking about it. lol And your last point, I hadn't even thought of that, but you're right and it's such a weird accomplishment. XD

Tbh, while I did enjoy the build-up/first half, overall it felt like a story I have come across before and it didn't go far enough in its criticism of the system (at least for me), so it's very skip-able!! Idk, or maybe I'm just awfully superficial as well. 🥲
