The ending was so disappointing. I was waiting for Si Wan to go to prison for the entire show... Killing him off is so cheap. Same for Do Han: he was a fascinating character and I really wanted to see him face the consequences of his actions. Him dying is not only sad, but also a waste of all his character's potential. Rather than a potential second season, I would have preferred an ending consistent with the rest of the show. One that tied up the loose ends rather than leave too many things open. What a shame. The drama is still pretty amazing as a whole though.
I really love how calm and quiet Shi Mok is. It's very relaxing to watch despite the twists, suspense and cliffhangers, thanks to him. I'm really loving this drama.
Prosecutor Kim is admirable but his naivety is putting everyone in danger. Now Jang Do Han has lost his edge on the evil prosecutor, and that doesn't bode well for them...
A sweeping and epic tale about survival, honor, and power struggle. What amazes me is how it doesn't shy…
I really agree. And funnily, I found Gunshi Kanbei's female cast very empowering in their own way. They all had their strengths and weaknesses, and the show was good about giving them spotlight even if they're less important to the main historical events. I really love that. In a way that's more respectful to them than adding some token "empowered" modern woman who feels out of place. I love that authenticity that we have there (also One is the best :P)
This drama was hilarious and the cast was awesome. I really loved the acting in this, especially when they have to play differently because of the body swap. Great drama!
