Did anyone watched the preview for 9,10? OMG!!

I suspect Heavenly God broke up the Flower Goddess and Water God out of jealousy. And force Water God to marry Wind Goddess. Now his kids will deal with his karma.

I do think YangZi figure suits her looks and character. She is endearing to many and if she was a skinny woman. I doubt she will be as popular.
Hope she will host a food show one day. She will be prefect.

I have. I personally enjoy watching her care free nature with no love attached to any guy. Sometimes, I find the female leads fall in love too quickly.

"'cerebral' type of drama" I have yet to come across this term to describe a drama. Well Put. This drama is neither easy watching non a straight forward theme and plot. Agreed, it is 'cerebral' type of drama

I too agree with you in regards to rating for this drama is superb with new rookie casts and low production budget. But in comparison to other drama on the similar release. it is not strong for main stream viewership ratings. example Heavy Sweetness Ash-like Frost hit 100milion in 15mins. But saying that the rating is growing rapidly as it has a strong cult following. I am hoping it will reach in millions viewership. Even through Legend of Yunxi hit 2.4 billion mark. I feel Bloody romance is a much better drama.

As for the latest Legend of Condor heroes, I have to say even I could not finish watching the drama. It is really not a good adaptation. Does not help the main actor had such a untimely scandal.

But I believe like you, we both a strong BR fans. I just wish it was a daily release.

I too wondered about that. If the pill was to prevent her from developing feelings. It should apply to friendship and lack of empathy. Which is not so in the drama. Your explanation now makes sense. Yangzi has made the character very endearing, kind and easy to love. Very different from the novel.

Lou Yunxi dubs over his own voice too. He is very soft spoken and diction is not as clear and confidence but he is still a rookie. I believe he will improve rapidly.

I have to say, I wonder if YangZi really loves eating ? In many of her characters, she loves to eat. So adorable. White snake, Dragon Pearl and Ashes of Love. She is always a food lover.
I believe e she can host a Chinese Street food program. Or star in a food related drama. She will be very well received. She has a vibe about her that is endearing.

This drama has a slow release each week. But it may not appeal to main stream viewers based on its ratings but it is building a very strong cult. I am truly enjoying this drama. The main lead actors are prefect for their role.

Agreed. They can just take a drama down even after approval and whilst boardcast.

Thanks for update on Iqiyi. I hope they do release a good ending to this. It is rather frustrating to watch a number of Chinese drama with such crap ending or open ending. Often it is to have a option for part 2 if drama is well received. I was hoping this drama with not be so but....

I really enjoy this version of Ngao Asoke . The older version is a Slap and Kiss theme that really will not sit well in 21st century. Females ill treated and abused is a uncomfortable act to see nor should it be acceptable. There are still some abusive scene but not similar to 2008 version.
The actress that shines in this drama is the second lead actress, she really played her role very well. Cruel yet funny... Lead actor version of Mon is good too. But Esther is really not a good actress. It is so disappointing to see her lack of range of emotions. Her acting skills is very weak. She does not make Pi shine. Rather disappointing. Her version of Pi is just flat.
But the supporting cast, especially the mum is a must watch.
I enjoy 2008 version 10yrs ago. But I love this 2016 version too.It suit this era... The theme song fits this drama. I am glad they used it.

I am a big fan of Aum. But this lakorn must be bad, even the subber drop interest. And put it on the shelf.

The agency is clearly using Vill to promote young actors...Wrong lead to choose. He is like her young spoilt brother. Such a shame...
